TrustfulColt look up your favorite hip hop songs, try recreate them in FL studios. Get used to the plugins and programs you have to your use. Then after you get used to the plugins you have and all that. You should start experimenting for yourself. But first i would really recommend you recreate a song or 2.

Now I work in ableton and I'm able to do the craziest shit.

Appreciate that man I always welcome constructive criticism. I had 0 subs less than two months ago so the thumbnails seem to be effective. At this point I'm experimenting to see what works and what doesn't and as a new channel I think it's important to be open to different methods of marketing yourself. Especially with as much content as there is on youtube you've gotta find ways to stand out. You can have awesome content but if no one is compelled to click on it then your numbers won't be great.

Yea man definitely save up and invest in yourself because while there are good factory sounds, you can only do so much with them. Check out SuperstarO on youtube he sells some pretty nice sound packs that are really affordable. I know he's got a few that are just for that 808 bass that you asked about. Komplete, Waves, and Omnisphere are all incredible plugins but really pricey. Just do some research if you can get your hands on those you'll have sounds for days. Good luck.

Creativity is the biggest part. I've pretty much taught myself production and I've still got a lot to learn when it comes to mixing. I started playing music when I was 9 so that's really how it all started.

GasLight they are made like that and some people buy them for the looks... and they are better quality( they brinks out the bass)
GasLight that’s not what it means. Speakers are supposed to let out vibrations with all the different frequencies. If you turn something up the of course the sound vibrations are going to shake at a higher gain. That doesn’t mean they’ll blow out though
