One of the best live bands I've ever seen - Shaw and Blades, Michael Cartellone on drums and ... Ted Nugent on guitar. The insane, the incomparable ... the Damn Yankees ... ! This rocks!
This is an awesome version of this song I didn’t know jack was and is such an awesome guitar player damn that was bad ass jack tommy and brad did an amazing job and how cool was it to throw highway star in there lol great performance
Shaw Blades need to do more stuff together or at the very least just have Styx and Night Ranger go on tour together and they just come out between acts and do something like this.
I got drunk with Brad one night and all I talked about was his brief tenure with Ozzy on the Speak of the Devil tour (which I was fortunate enough to witness in '83--he secured the prestigious spot of filling in for the departed god Randy Rhodes). He seemed somewhat despondant as his lastest release with Night Ranger was not selling well (early nineties and grunge was taking over).
Fair. But the people that know, well 'know' it's Brad and he is highly respected. I encourage you and everyone else to seek out his own videos on here. I remember initially being irked back in the day when he jumped over to Ozzy's band, but after hearing in his own words how he left that band at it's peak and returned home to play with the ones he grew up with in Night Ranger warmed my heart in a big way. Great guitarist and a great person.
Night Ranger a la Tommy Shaw - wow! The real deal with these representations is that they are tuned DOWN a half step from where they used to SING them "back in the day" which is significantly higher and harder to sing. Styx/Night Ranger/Damn Yankees as an Unplugged/Acoustic release...I would definitely buy a copy if they did it, or even Styx Unplugged. They don't write songs like these much anymore which seems like something is missing. Thanks guys, but next time don't use factory strings (or was it the recording?) They tend to buzz too much when they are "attacked" like that. (Thank you) Hope all is well with you and yours. Be well We are our brother's keeper. Pay It Forward May peace be with you and yours always
Jack, Tommy, and Brad… icons of rock! Amazing harmonies for a NAMM show
Jack Blades is the happiest performer ever- he just makes ya smile 😊
Now THIS is music!
Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades are awesome together, and, of course, Brad kicks ass.
Love their harmonies. I have 2 shaw blades CDs.
So good!
Tommy is a really great guitarist. Yes, he has an amazing voice, but his playing is up there with the best.
Absolutely
FKN AWESOME
Truth be know I watch this video everyday because these guys looks so happy. Its a lift up
I just realized the super group we need: Shaw Blades Cartellone and Gillis. An improved Damn Yankees.
I am blessed to know this music when it was new. I am blessed to be here to enjoy it again. I will always be blessed :)
TY :)
WOW...awsome version of this song!!
Can't forget about Brad with that killer riff 🎸
Jack Blades was a guilty pleasure for me. His Night Ranger songs are among my favorite 80s metal.
Brad Gillis is way underrated as a guitarist. He's never in the conversation as an Ozzy guitarist.
Awesome! The only thing missing was a closeup on Brad's lead!

My man! Brad Gillis!! Love all those guys!
AWESOME rendition of this song! These guys just ROCK together! Always love Tommy Shaw in the mix. :-)
Tommy is a great guitarist and vocalists

SHAW , BLADES AWSOME
great showmanship, great performance, VERY entertaining to watch. jst damn gud!!
THOUGHT THAT WAS BRAD GILLIS!
Brad Gillis hanging out in the back. An amazing live guitarist. One of my favorites. Too bad they couldn’t get a better camera angle on his leads.
Impressive all around...Brad humming along....
Brad still as it even on an acoustic!
Of course, the guitar playing is incredible but those harmony vocals are perfection.
Damn! That was GREAT!
Wow!!! Yes! Thank you.
🎶💛🎶💛🎶
GREAT
Love this!

❤❤❤
So why was Brad left out of the title of this video? Kinda rude if you ask me...
Jack did mention him on guitar

SHOW
Brad needs a Floyd Rose on that Taylor.
I had Styx Night Ranger tickets July 24 Dayton Ohio TY Covid 19 cancelled
Like that little dig at Taylor who alway denies giving away guitars.

This tune is in the exact same key it was originally recorded in. Go listen to the original to compare.
To great talents on one stage. They need another Damn Yankees tour.
*two
@@bazookajoe6133 and three, really.
Love this but I prefer the rock version
Deese muddafukkas!!! AMAZING!!
Jesus H christ!
I dont think this tune was meant to be played acoustically lol Good job tho
I won't.😂
Gawd where did they get those mics and amps Walmart?? Horrible quality!! I hope that was just because of the camera quality.
heheheh great performance :) but brad gillis can't play that jeff watson solo in this lifetime :)
Can you? LOL
