Infinite Scratch thats the way he somewhat is expect he sometimes throws things into the pot of the city to see what happens or even strils it witha big spoon much more like a cook or a witch making a potion or strew
I don't see Izaya as a villian, I see him as more of an example of how crazy Ikebukuro can be. He doesn't seem evil 100% of the time, but morally off or going with whatever he'd like to see the most. It's like he's flipping through channels on TV or playing a board game. He's in control of a lot of things, but steers them in the direction he'll have the most fun watching the outcome of, be it good or bad. (Not to mention he often leaves chances for the situation to work for the better.)
+thekagepro24 __ Exactly. I see him as more of a chaotic neutral type than a chaotic evil type. He is neither good nor evil, but he sure causes a lot of chaos.
Ah Izaya Orihara, the ultimate troll. No seriously when you think about it he's a troll, he messes with people to get an often times violent and angry reaction
Fatboyftw32 To me, I think that the label of troll doesn’t show the true immensity of the things he does to people. Sure, Izaya sometimes gets people angry and upset for kicks but usually it's for some nefarious purpose and I think that calling him a troll isn't severe enough. I do understand why people call him a troll, though.
What I love the most about Durarara!! is that every character is exactly this! Every character is interesting, and when i think I will hate some new character, just because they seem so normal and boring, the next episode shows the history of this character and how AWESOME they actually are! The biggest example is Mikado.
Yes, I do the same, especially if I can't get a read on their personality. I also wonder if they have some supernatural or underground connections and stuff like that.
Way to light and Darkness People like Mikado truly are the most terrifying of all. They can switch between their attitudes at will, and they're all genuine. All of them. Especially when they're being nice.
Izaya's not just simply the 'villain' though, just like how there's really no set 'hero' in the entire anime. Actually, I would go to say that Izaya's probably one of the most tragic anime characters I've seen.
I just watched all of Durarara for the first time. I was curious to see if you had talked about it before... and found myself here. The experience of watching this video is surreal. It was uploaded 7 years ago, but to me it feels brand new. It feels like you never left :)
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your the first person on youtube I've found that goes in depth with durararas characters and complex morals! Everyone always judging the show based on baccano and the light novel, but that overshadow the fact that it's still a great show. THANK YOU! Hope that you could do more in depth look at durarara series as a whole once it's completed and don't be afraid to put spoilers, there's no spoiler talk about this show yet so it's hard to go in depth about it which the meat of the show lies in, that's why not a lot of people talk about it.
This video really clarified to me why I like the show so much, and how it embodies my own philosophy about seeking out the abnormal things in everyday life (or rather how abnormal things can then seem normal). Great video!
I totally agree with you. The greatest appeal to me in Durarara are the characters and the relationships they all have with one another. Whether they know it or not, every event affects the lives of other characters in some fashion, which usually gives each event a greater meaning than first perceived. The other thing I really like about Durarara is that despite it's enormous cast of characters, the show never feels overly cluttered, unless the story requires it. Like that hotpot scene. That scene felt like a cluster-fuck of such an absurd cast of characters, and yet the juxtaposition of them doing something so natural and normal really hit home the appeal the show has such a good grasp of.
Honestly, I think the second season of Durarara has the series' concept perfected. Instead of having any linear story, it's turned into this writer's playground where a bunch of unique characters and their unique stories are getting interconnected into a melting pot of awesomeness. You could see a lot of that in the first season too, but while that did have a somewhat clear dramaturgic structure (especially during the second half) I feel like season two completely threw that away and instead let itself become a hot wonderful mess.
I absolutely agree with everything you said. You put all of my thoughts on the show into perfect words, thank you! I especially liked what you said about Izaya. He is probably my favorite anime character of all time, and you perfectly summed up why. You seem to appreciate the show in a mature way, and I don't find many others like that. Awesome!!
When I first heard of durarara I thought it was going to be generic and shit, but then one day bored I sat and watched falling in love with the show and characters. This is my personal favorite anime ever, a few things have come close to taking it down but durarara is still at the top for me.
I think those last couple of sentences really sum up what durarara!! is about, as the narrator constantly states that all the events in it are extremely normal, yet abnormal at the same time. just as all the characters are normal characters, yet extremely badass at the same time.
This is exactly the type of story I love. It's also why I loved Baccano, Majutsu no Index and Kagaku no Railgun. You have a large cast of people whose lives are as abnormal as it gets but it just becomes routine for them after a while.
i love Durarara, it seems to connect into reality, which i think is part of why i love it so much, i also especially love Izaya and his involvement and personality in the show
i was actually seriously obsessed with durarara for 5 or 6 years, like deep in fandom making meta posts and fanart. as my depression worsened i've disconnected and i can barely care about anything anymore. i miss that feeling of caring so much even though I think I was actually a little insane at the time because i was in so deep. anyway yeah durarara characters are all cool
4:45, it's isaac and miria from Baccano! Holy shit I actually watched Durarara first and had no idea why they were paying such attention to these random people that only appeared once. Now that i've seen both my mind is just blown! It's even the same voice actors!
They're both part of the "Narita-verse", the world where all of his light novels coexist and there's some blink and you miss it references in the light novels.
Makes me glad when I watch this cause I felt the same way about it. The themes of everyone having a secret interesting story under the surface and everyone only knowing a tiny piece of the other stories. Except Izaya who knows everyone elses stories
+Digibro I love this anime analysis! Also, your take on Izaya's character and overall behavior was SPOT ON! I love your videos, and I hope that more people would be willing to take into account that "Durarara!!" is one of few anime of its kind. I just wish that people had more of an eagerness to make a "review" of this anime series, and touch on the same aspects that you have. I think more people would be drawn to more anime like this if given the assumption that most anime DO have stories, just like people in everyday society.
Petronio39 This sounded a lot like a baccano tie in before you put the in universe immortal baccano characters on screen near the end of the video. I've actually been looking for a new anime to watch, and it seems like there's no time like the present to get started on this one.
+Petronio39 Well it is by the same author as Baccano afterall so it still has somewhat of the same feel. I do highly recommend it if you're into a highly character driven narrative.
I love durarara! So much because of the characters and the setting itself. At my school I apparently very "izaya" like to everybody because I know what everyone is up to at any given time. Izaya also had a novel released in July called "Izaya and the Sunset" that take place after the events of the first set of novels (aka season one and the rest of season 2 to come I think)
Do you know anything about anime production, an industry where shows are successes if they get 2000 blu ray sales? Well now you know that anime is extremely niche focused.
I started watching durarara 7 years ago. This show is part of my life. D: It's the anime that made me want to visit Japan, and when i visited Japan (finally) i also visited a lot of places mentioned in this anime!
+Digibro Thanks for this video, awesome analysis as always. I haven't watched the anime yet, and I can see that this could spoil people who want to see this show in a "fresh and unspoiled" way, though seeing as Durarara's first season was released quite some time ago, I don't think it's that bad (people hyped for it will have seen it anyway). One thing that I have to say though is that your way of summarizing the core principles of what makes Durarara special and backing up your claim with some examples (Although next time it would probably be better not to explicitly state which scene was "one of the show's biggest payoffs") has made me interested in the series and has motivated me to start watching it regardless of the spoilers. I really like your videos because they bring a lot more intelligent thinking into the anine scene, which is still too often than not seen as a " dumb children's cartoon" scene by a lot of people here in the west.
+TheFerdi265 Thanks~ I did actually exercise a small bit of discretion since originally I listed the episode number as well lol. Hopefully the twist can still be exciting in its presentation.
Thank you so much for this video i was smiling throughout because of how accurate everything you said is. Personally, durarara is on my top 5 list just because its a really nice and fun experience to get to know lots of characters in a small city and see them interact and their reactions toward each others. I know this is kind of weird, but i find myself thinking about what id be if i were to be a character there, like where ill end up or who ill befriend or how much ill know about these characters, but even while watching i feel like im part of Ikebukuro (sorry if i wrote it wrong), a spectator whos watching everyone from afar. Durarara really gave me so many lessons about the types of people and their ways of communicating with each other. Of course another thing i really loved, and thats why i didnt mind it being slow, is understanding each an every single character there. I wanted to know how they felt and how they dealt with everything happening in their lives and their back stories and i wasnt disappointed. I really enjoyed all of it, although it was pretty slow at first, but it was really really good. Of course this is all my opinion.
Oh I needed this... So refreshing to see this view of the show opposed to Gigguk's ... Who If I remember correctly wanted the show to be more about the "celebrity characters" as you so fittingly put it than about the high school kids
And that is why I love!!! This show and Baccano!! X'3 Life full off people with each of them having a story of their own, the disjointedness, And at any time you with your own life story being involved in another person's life at anytime is just wonderful! And another thing! Since life and anything else are full the unknown it just makes it even more interesting. And yeah! This series to me is a great example for how life can be and it's great. Sorry, I just lost myself there. Almost got my personality confused with Izaya again.
agree with this one, durarara has no side characters... every characters is the protagonist in their own perspective (and they're hideous in their own way) and that's why durarara is unique--story and characters. one of the best series of all time ^^
Durarara has been my favorite anime for years. I fell in love with this anime, for the reasons in this video. I've always loved how there were so many protagonists and so many characters with interesting stories and personalities. I may have started watching the anime for the ship's, but I fell in love with everything about it, the plot and characters. I truely love every character, even my least favorite character I like somewhat. this anime will probably be my favorite forever (this was also the first anime that I really obsessed over, as the few animes I've seen before Durarara weren't as interesting as Durarara).
Wow, you perfectly summed up what I felt and thought after watching Durarara!! Everyone is the main character of their own story. There is no such thing as a random person. Amazing! I love this video. :D (Also, although your description of Izaya suggests he is highly evil, and he is, it's only given me a new and higher respect for him. I love Izaya. XD)
this puts everything I've thought about when analyzing Durarara!! into perfect words- And now I understand why it's going to be staying on my top ten list of favorite animes :")
An awesome perspective on the anime. Ive been going back and watching some older videos from the time before i subscribed. Totally worth it! I'm a big fan of this channel but this is the first time I felt like I needed to say something. Really enjoyed your thoughts.
Ryohgo Narita is not a mangaka. Please don't insult the best author in the world like that. He writes books. The ugly ass manga adaptions are not from him.
Here is Durarara explained in a few words. Someone throws a vending machine, Izaya is in the middle of it. Someone gets angry, Izaya is in the middle of it. Someone breathes, Izaya is in the middle of it.
Izaya Orihara is my favorite character by far in Durarara. Johnny Yong Bosch is the best english voice actor for anime in my opinion! He made Izaya WAY more believable.
+Liiq Once Durarara is done I would love a season 2 to Baccano. The only reason I like baccano less then drr is because of the short 16 episode length (although x2 has made me love drr way more now).
When I first got into Durarara I was always intrigued by Mikado just because he felt like a normal guy thrown into an abnormal situation. When it became obvious that he was a whole different abnormal it was a different kind of interesting, even if he makes so little use of his standing as the first season goes on. I felt like season two lost a lot of that and that’s a shame. Luckily the other characters got more interesting so I never felt like leaving.
I Imagine Narita's room is like the rooms in those mystery thrillers. There are probably photos and sticky notes all over the wall, tied together by a network of multicolored string. Or maybe that is just the interior of their skull.
My eyes roll out of my skull every time Durarara rolls out one of it's "kooky" characters complete with confetti and jazz hands. Everyone's a badass means no one is a badass. Baccano is infinitely better.
I stopped watching this anime around the middle of the new second season because i couldn't keep up with so many characters and storylines going on all at once but this vid actually made me think about starting it up again. Its kind of cool to just step back and think of it as multiple stories of peoples lives rather than try too hard to connect it all into one joined plot with one goal. I think not trying mash everything together and just going with the story at hand might make the whole thing a lot easier to enjoy. I definitely loved the anime and all the awesome characters (especially Celty!!), but i just couldn't find myself enjoying it as much as i wished i could when things got really complicated. But yea. I guess i could start watching it again with a new mindset.
I REALLY need to finish watching this. In the opening segment of this video alone I'm seeing characters that I've never seen before and am confused as all hell lol.
Mikado is so badass. I legit love every character in Durarara, but Mikado is my #1. Ugh why is this anime so amazing? The ending was with Shinra and Celty was fuckin awesome. Yeha think I'm gonna rewatch it again...
Carson Groel. They are in the same universe. Why do Issac and Maria need an explanation to be there? They're immortal. Also In volume 08 of durarara, Saki makes a comment on how the child actor, Charon Walken, bares a striking resemblance to Kasuka. It's worth noting that Charon, along with his sister Claudia, are the great grandchildren of Felix Walken (formerly known as Claire Stanfield) and Chane Laforet. A popular director in Baccano!, John Drox, frequently hires Kasuka for his movies. The unnamed photographer who narrated volume 01 of the Baccano novels lives in the apartment next to Mikado. There's plenty of connections.
I'm half Japanese, and have spent a significant amount of time visiting family in Japan, though I live in London. Ikebukuro (sorry to nit-pick but it's 'i-*ke*-bu-kuro' with emphasis on the 'ke') is one of my favourite areas of Tokyo since I'm a city girl. It's got a lot of big shops and department stores - and one of the most confusing and huge stations for foreigners to get lost in, seriously - as well as smaller alleys and side streets. I loved Durarara since it was focused on one part of Tokyo that I know fairly well :)
The way you described izaya sounds like he's a member of the audience who's trying to write a fanfic with people in his life
Infinite Scratch thats the way he somewhat is expect he sometimes throws things into the pot of the city to see what happens or even strils it witha big spoon much more like a cook or a witch making a potion or strew
Which, ironically, better than most Durarara fanfiction :p
+Infinite Scratch That's actually exactly who he is xD
+Infinite Scratch That.. makes so much sense.
***** Yeah, it's based on the name 'Isaiah' I think.
I'm convinced everybody pronounces Durarara differently
at first i pronounced it stressing the first syllable but now i roll the 'r's and stress the second syllable
I say Duh-rrra-rra
I pronounce it as Due-ruh-ruh-ruh.
+BlueMoonSamurai99 Due-Ra-Ra-Ra sometimes I add and extra Ra on accident
The proper way to pronounce Durarara is to make motorcycle sounds.
Hence his common nick name among the fandom, Trollzaya (*^^)v
Fatboyftw32 To me, I think that the label of troll doesn’t show the true immensity of the things he does to people. Sure, Izaya sometimes gets people angry and upset for kicks but usually it's for some nefarious purpose and I think that calling him a troll isn't severe enough. I do understand why people call him a troll, though.
What I love the most about Durarara!! is that every character is exactly this! Every character is interesting, and when i think I will hate some new character, just because they seem so normal and boring, the next episode shows the history of this character and how AWESOME they actually are! The biggest example is Mikado.
Yeah, they're so awesome.
Which new characters do you hate?
Isaac and Miria still being those two lovable scamps after all these years.
I just notice them even though i already watch durarara
Yes.
Hercule Pyro we need a baccano x2
this is exactly why i loved Durarara so much that it is on my top 10 favorite anime's list
no wonder i love all the characters so much even though with the opening remembering the namea of all of them was hell but boy do i love Durarara
I love everything about Durarara. It's my favorite anime ever.
And surprise surprise, noragami is your top 10 too
Sam. Durarara comes after blue exorcist and black butler
Every time I see a stranger I don't see them as normal. I speculate all the weird shit they do when alone or how many people they've killed. XD
you forgot espers
Yes, I do the same, especially if I can't get a read on their personality. I also wonder if they have some supernatural or underground connections and stuff like that.
Me too.
izaya -boss
mikado -final boss
Way to light and Darkness LOL mikado is the only one who can beat izaya plan ((oop spoiler))
Way to light and Darkness People like Mikado truly are the most terrifying of all. They can switch between their attitudes at will, and they're all genuine. All of them. Especially when they're being nice.
That's some Gurren Laggan shit right there XD
+~ Sakura Stardust ~ LoL i need to rewatch that
+Way to light and Darkness Me too XD I may just watch the movie since its shortened though :p
Of coarse everyone in durarara awesome :3
Baccano & its cast >>>> Durarara.
John Kang you just had too
Izaya's not just simply the 'villain' though, just like how there's really no set 'hero' in the entire anime. Actually, I would go to say that Izaya's probably one of the most tragic anime characters I've seen.
Ahh yes, Durarara!! is truly the best, a masterpiece in and of its own~
And that is kind of almost entirely your fault xD
Nekobento Chaaan Of course~ Little Ikebukuro wouldn't be that exiting without me to stir up the interesting little humans~
as well as baccano
I love you Izayaaa!
Akatsubasa As I love you my human~~
Conclusion: I love Izaya, more than he loves humanity~
Ananda28 I relate alot to Izaya, though really lazy and more introverted (intp by mbti) as Izaya is either entp or entj by the mbti test
But that's impossible~
Kossophic Izaya is actually quite introverted.

How the seasons go now-
Shit goes down, Izaya gets hurt, WAIT 5 MORE MONTHS, MOFOS!!!!
This is why Izaya is my favorite character in all of the animes I’ve seen. He is the puppeteer, the ringmaster, he runs the show.
durarara reminds me of a chatroom roleplay where every character has their own plot
This is exactly the type of story I love. It's also why I loved Baccano, Majutsu no Index and Kagaku no Railgun. You have a large cast of people whose lives are as abnormal as it gets but it just becomes routine for them after a while.
Oh, never thought Index could have the same pattern as Durarara, but actually you're quite right...
♞ Go Fuck Yourself ♞ is my daily chore.
i love Durarara, it seems to connect into reality, which i think is part of why i love it so much, i also especially love Izaya and his involvement and personality in the show

+Nihilism55 Actually, the author of Drrr wrote Baccano first and the anime was also released before Drrr. :)
Wait are they the same voice actors because Isaac didn't sound the same in the English dub to me
Thomas Scally Don't know about the girl, but the guy is different, yes. In Baccano, he's voiced by J. Michael Tatum.
Exactly why I love drrr in a nutshell! A story the completely bucks tradition and shows a different form of narrative than other anime/manga.
+Digibro I love this anime analysis! Also, your take on Izaya's character and overall behavior was SPOT ON! I love your videos, and I hope that more people would be willing to take into account that "Durarara!!" is one of few anime of its kind. I've actually been following humans of New York for years, mostly because I grew up in NY before moving to Arizona for college.
Absolute Bloom Just did watch the first episode, and Baccano is playing in the background on a giant TV.
Petronio39 There are quite a few Baccano references. I've only seen the first episode of Baccano so I should probably give it another shot soon
Absolute Bloom I liked it. It's short, sweet, and has some mystery to it, which I'm always a fan of.
Excellent video and analysis! Oh, and major props to you for your dedication to pronouncing the names right.
This video is still the best explanation and character assessment I've ever seen for durarara. My favorite, without question.
great approach for a critic about this anime
I love durarara! So much because of the characters and the setting itself. At my school I apparently very "izaya" like to everybody because I know what everyone is up to at any given time. +Jared 9915 I Knew it :D
isn't the word "Baccano" the password to the dollars website?
DLandrum yep
but y would u just simply blow it out 2 d public like it's nothin, from aside looks like u don't respect d dollar's community at all...
YEET
I thought everyone hated this anime?
I mean, I love it, but I thought I was alone.
People tend to like Baccano more, but both are very entertaining as long as you pay attention :p
Do you know anything about anime production, an industry where shows are successes if they get 2000 blu ray sales? Well now you know that anime is extremely niche focused.
Cyba eyyyy my dude.
DRRR rocks even if the only opinion of it I got from another person is when they recognized the Ketsu OP I was humming.
I think everybody likes the characters just not the way the story ties together
I started watching durarara 7 years ago. This show is part of my life. D: It's the anime that made me want to visit Japan, and when i visited Japan (finally) i also visited a lot of places mentioned in this anime!
after all is said and done. im back here... these videos and era still speak to me, i still find the writing here extremely appealing
Check out the We Watch Anime channel if you haven't! I covered the next show from this creator (Dead Mount Death Play)

What an awesome analysis of this awesome story. It couldn't have been explained any more clearly and insightfully. Great video! :)
I'm a side character in my own life T.T
No you're not, you're the true hero of your own life
Akatsubasa :)
Romantis Anon Feel proud ;)
Hahaha same
agree with this one, durarara has no side characters... every characters is the protagonist in their own perspective (and they're hideous in their own way) and that's why durarara is unique--story and characters. one of the best series of all time ^^
Menus Tom Tanaka. He is the only one who is normal in all ways. XD
I love this series. One of my favorite Anime shows. Extremely underrated.
XD)
i'm not quite sure why people would watch a video about a series they haven't seen yet. obviously there are going to be spoilers...
to see if they will like it and if it is worth watching and what others think of it. Also a spoiler warning never hurt anyone
(saves video for a rainy day because my favorite youtuber is talking about one of my favorite anime c: )
this puts everything I've thought about when analyzing Durarara!! into perfect words- And now I understand why it's going to be staying on my top ten list of favorite animes :")
This is Amazing! Thank you!
You just analyzed it gracefully and put it together in a nutshell. Wonderful!
I love this anime the ending was VERY interesting too
even the timid and shy mikado is a leader of gang, a powerful gang that could overturn a city in one night
An awesome perspective on the anime. Ive been going back and watching some older videos from the time before i subscribed. Totally worth it! I'm a big fan of this channel but this is the first time I felt like I needed to say something. Really enjoyed your thoughts.
"Everyone thinks they are the hero of their own story." I don't remember where i heard this quote from but it is awesome.
the way you explain the anime is great, i want to watch it now. XD
neosaneo2 you should it's rlly good
I NEVER NOTICED ISAAC AND MIRIA IN DRRR OMG
Same. It does make sense though because they do have the same mangaka(author)
Where ??
At 4:49 and you can also see baccano playing on a billboard screen at 1:36 and 2:21
Also, password to Dollars site is baccano. IRL as well.
Ryohgo Narita is not a mangaka. Please don't insult the best author in the world like that. He writes books. The ugly ass manga adaptions are not from him.
You explained it so well. And I like how you recommended that blog. Thank you!
You summed it up perfectly. Awesome video.
I love characters like Izaya. I just... love Izaya. I love him so much. It's probably unhealthy
4:45 OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! IT'S THEM!! I LOVE THEM!
This might just convince me to watch Durarara since I've been hearing about it everywhere but I had no idea what it was about until this video
Here is Durarara explained in a few words.
Someone throws a vending machine, Izaya is in the middle of it.
Someone gets angry, Izaya is in the middle of it.
Someone breathes, Izaya is in the middle of it.
Smudgie3589 _ 99% he is involved
Thanks to this video I started watching Durarara!! and I am enjoying it so far.
The Isaac and Mira cameo is one of my favorite parts in durarara
Izaya Orihara is my favorite character by far in Durarara. Johnny Yong Bosch is the best english voice actor for anime in my opinion! He made Izaya WAY more believable.
OK, I checked it out, and it really did peel back the curtain a little bit for me. Thanks again.
Really liked this video, dark, jigsaw plot lines are my absolute favorite.
Durarara needs a break, we need BACCANO season 2
+thsudy what ?
+Fractured Ghoul We waited AGES for season 2
Both series are amazing and deserves season 2
+Liiq Once Durarara is done I would love a season 2 to Baccano. The only reason I like baccano less then drr is because of the short 16 episode length (although x2 has made me love drr way more now).
+Ran Izumii The sequel has enough chapters for a 12-24 ep season
When I first got into Durarara I was always intrigued by Mikado just because he felt like a normal guy thrown into an abnormal situation. When it became obvious that he was a whole different abnormal it was a different kind of interesting, even if he makes so little use of his standing as the first season goes on. I felt like season two lost a lot of that and that’s a shame. Luckily the other characters got more interesting so I never felt like leaving.
How have I not ever noticed that Isaac and Miria at that dollars meeting?
I feel like I just listened to Izaya talk about why humans are fascinating
The only thing I disagree it's that roll of Izaya is not as simple to fall in the anime as a "villian"
But I really love the video 💕
I love the Hot Pot scene because everyone in Celtys and Shinra's apartment has tried to kill or hurt someone.
this is a perfect explanation of why Durarara!! is my favourite anime ever
I REALLY need to finish watching this. In the opening segment of this video alone I'm seeing characters that I've never seen before and am confused as all hell lol.
''Canadiens, probably polite''
XD Omg I died
Badass anime= Badass characters
Wonderful way to summarize the series.
I'm in love with Izaya and how he thinks.
I'm glad I'm up to date on the novel...
I just noticed Vorona looks like Annie from AoT
Mikado is so badass. I legit love every character in Durarara, but Mikado is my #1. Ugh why is this anime so amazing? The ending was with Shinra and Celty was fuckin awesome. Yeha think I'm gonna rewatch it again...
WAIT!! is durara in the same universe than Baccano? a couple seems to appear in both series
+nachoolo It is.
I at first couldn't get into drrr, but upon second viewing loved how these.seemingly individual vignettes converged onto one another.
this is beautiful and explains everything so well
Izaya is the perfect example of a chaotic neutral, imo.
This dude is such a good writer and commenter👌👌
I feel like the main villain is the actual manifestation of the viewer
I GOTTA REWATCH IT NOW!
It's a crime that he didn't say spoiler alert at the beginning
