Metz est une ville superbe trop peu visitée

I went to Metz in February. Very nice town but I don’t suggest visiting in Feb. It was during the covid thing. And I had my worst covid experiences in Metz. The QR readers for the vaccination certificates that shops and transports use didn’t match with the ones of the police, airport etc. I scanned my QR successfully while entering the country, all security systems etc. But Starbucks in Metz refused to sell me the coffee that I had already ordered and they had already prepared because their reader said my QR was invalid. We discussed that for a good 20 minutes and they said no. My bus back to Paris refused to accept me in because their reader didn’t recognize my QR. I ran around to find a cop and I did find one. He ran back with me to the bus and told the driver that my QR works and I managed to get in the bus. If that cop wasn’t around, the bus was gonna leave in minutes leaving me behind because of his stupid QR reader and attitude.
That was one cold, annoying adventure for me.

While in Luxembourg in 2011 , we decided to visit Metz. It's such a wonderful, feel-good little town ! I hope I can make it back one day
