It's a good step to have solar panels installed but I think we should also add nuclear power plants to our electricity grid its important to power security
it is in process but as you know integration of nuclear energy takes lot of years
We are in the process of adding 20 reactors of additional 14 GW of nuclear power plant capacity also by 2031 - the first 2 700 MW reactors under this scheme have just gone critical. In addition there are many other plans being discussed with France, Russia etc.

@@varunmittal3617 I wish. But based on our government's own estimate, nuclear will account for about 9% of our total electricity generation capacity by 2047.
To give a comparison - our total nuclear capacity by 2031 will be 21 GW. In the meantime, our solar capacity will be 500 GW, as per current plans. The government is trying everything (e.g. NTPC may partner with NPC for building reactors), but even with all that nuclear will still be less than 10% of the energy mix by 2047.

That scheme should be implemented in south india first.
South india state government are not allowing central schemes to implement effectively.
Telangana is the best example.
Hardly we recieved 2-3 schemes from past 5 years .
Then government didn't allowed most of the schemes to enter Telangana.

All the points in video already exists now. Subsidy 45k is given to 3kw rooftop solar. Selling of excess power to DISCOM is also already going on.
Its been 10yrs all these are in place.

Sir 55% subsided hai Uttarakhand mein I have installed at my home 🙏🏻 everyone should do and it cost less then 2 lack and 55% will be returned to us so around 1 lack for 3 kw connection
This is indeed a good step. But I request gov to give this contract to a reputed private contractor who would maintain these solar panel for at least 5 years.

Solar energy is a viable option at commercial level if Government allows smooth exchange of units
Right now grids are not available in most places, private parties are not able to deal with each other due to exchange problem, govt agencies are working very inefficiently and trying to stop all this due to hugh level of corruption in electricity departments
I think there is a big scope in solar power in india
and it is a good opportunity for us(entrepreneurs) .

I tried and the process is so complex.. there is no single window to put request and get it installed. Moreover the government only provides benefits to on grid installation..

Solar panels , works good I have in my house (on roof) but for boiling water not for electricity (for past 5 years) , I mean it’s effective. Very low maintenance Soo. That’s good initiative from government.
Solar panel is not a necessity for medium and poor family.
As family with annual income within 5 lakhs will hesitate to invest in solar panel.
As when the cost with subsidy reach upto 100000 (1 lakh) that family is unwilling to invest in solar though he knows it will save electric bill in long run.

The subsidy is a max of 1 lakh for 10kw installation which costs 9 to 10 lakhs. This is never going to be a success. Now im paying bill like 700 to 800. I have to invest atleast 10 lakhs for this scheme. Even if i have to pay 1000 as bill, i can still pay 1000 months to reach that 10 lakh. Or inflated rates 500 months.
On other hand if we install 10kw, we get only 120 kw in a months but we use 200 to 250 kw. 10 lakh invest to use half freely and pay the rest? Lol. This wont work unless solar panal undergo huge change in terms of efficiency and cost, which can happen only by R&D.
West Bengal Kolkata DISCOM CESC not supporting this scheme and its stuck in the High Court of Kolkata.
Neither the State Government and DISCOM interest as their monopoly on the energy bill will end.
West Bengal Government is not interest in implementing any Central scheme which is for the citizens benefit.
Didi will not s allow any of the Central scheme
still many states like west bengal do not offer proper guidance and help to consumers in installing net meters , etc. Infact there is no proper knowledge & sop for it on the website

I am ready to install rooftop Solars on my Rooftop. Mayne yeh rooftop ke bareme 2-3 sal pehele socha tha. But the issue is mayne mere total Ghar ka each and every cheez Kam bizli khane wale cheez laga Diya hay. Aur mera consume ya fir need below 1kw hay. 500watt -700watt actual but Maan ke chal rahe hay 1kw but yaha par issue yeh hay ki Gird Connect Solar lagaoge tab hi apko subsidy milega Off Grid pe nehi milta. Aur mere waha WBSEDCL Jo electricity provide karta hay yaha par Net metering ke liye bhi bahut lamba chakkar katna padega. Lengthy process.

Company Wale 2.5 rupees me bijli(light) per units ke humko dete he. Aur 8 rupees me sell karti he. And tex and service charge extra leti he. Government ko bolo unit ke minimum 6 rupees me buy kare.
Issue with this scheme is people can't afford solar panel I went to site and calculated still it's out of my budget if I only install 2kwh panels still needs 50000rs and I have to give my roof for that too govt should increase subsidy or suryoday will suryaasta soon

सर इसकी लागत बहुत ही ज्यादा लगती है कंपनी प्राइस इतनी बढ़ा देती है कि सब्सिडी का लाभ कस्टमर को मिल ही नहीं पाता इसकी लागत करीब 1 लाख के आसपास आती है तो गरीब परिवार कैसे एक लाख का खर्च कर सकता है
