I've had my Ninja Creami (deluxe) about a year now and I still love it just as much as when it was new and still a "novelty." What I wish I had known before it arrived was that I could make up an ice cream mix (recipes available on the Ninja website) and store it in the refrigerator for a day or two. When the machine arrived I would have immediately prewashed the parts coming into contact with food and loaded it with with my (premade) ice cream mix. All that because I am impatient to start using my new kitchen toy. Then I could enjoy my treat the next day after studying how to make it all work. One word of advice: don't overload the machine, respect the fill lines. I usually make it less than full. It makes cleaning so much easier if the machine has a bit of extra room to do its work. We are a family of two, so it is not a hardship for us. Please have fun with it.
