I bought one of these last year, used it so many times to do quite a bit of drivway and walk, i woule go thru 3-6 4ah at a time easy. I bought a milwakee/ dewalt adapter for this since i have a few 12ah h.o. milwakees. I worked at a outdoor ampatheater and every time it snowed we had to go arpund and sovel around the buildings (made of wood) i took this and went thru a good 6 6ah dewalt batterys every time i needed to clear snow. Never let me down, works great.
A few years ago i had that snowblower but something broke on it. The auger wouldn't spin. I had to return it under warranty and they made it sound like they would repair it at the store. I selected the option for repair because it was working extremely well before it stopped working. But once i arrived at the store they said they could only refund me. They were unable to swap it with another one.
@@Toolspecs No way that's not a QC accent. 😋 I really want the 40V but it's too much money. I absolutely can't believe how quiet is is! Is the auger plastic or metal? I have a spot with dirt/gravel I would like it for but I think it would destroy a plastic auger.
@bikdav it's rated for 10" deep snow. In the first part of the video, i use it in about 4" snow. Near the carport they were spots deeper then 10" and of course it build up above the auger but it still throws the snow. I also tested it a other time in snow deeper than 10" fluffy snow and i found that holding it more tilted was making it still very efficient. I'll keep filming and testing it as much as possible in different conditions during the winter, to make more conditions specific reviews.
I only used it with a 6Ah , I can park 4-5 cars in my driveway. So far it use 2-4 battery bars do do the driveway, I only completly drained the battery once in the same time that I finished clearing the snow.
@@louislebrun1790 I only tested it twice and it worked great for me both times. I'll keep filming and testing it in as many defferent snow conditions as possible throughout this winter.

Wow you really push this snow shovel very hard. Pretty much commercial use at this point.

@BrettSauve that's to bad that they couldn't just give you a new one.
Thanks very much! If it can deal with QC snow, it's probably pretty good!
I'm in Ontario so I don't get as much snow as Quebec does.

@Pro1er the auger is plastic and it's tight clearance, little branches gets it jam up.
@@Toolspecs Thanks, sounds like it would not work on gravel. Nice review though.
How much Canadian would you like with your order?
Yes
@@ClericChris the 18v is around $200 cnd
Very cool do they extend what's the height how tall is it fully extended??
@TimothyCibula-vh5ip it doesn't extend. It weight around 12 lbs and mesure 54" from bottom of the auger to tip of the handle.
OK thank you very much
Nice review, it's a shame it doesn't throw to the side / 45 degree angle.
This would be a nice feature but it would splater against the trucks/cars when we clear the snow between them.
Looks better than a shovel 😮
I was very impressed, I wasn't expecting this much from a 18v snow shovel.
How deep of snow can it supposedly handle in the first shot?

@@Toolspecs OK. Thanks. I just need something for my front walkway since I can’t access it with the big snow thrower.
@@bikdav i'm going to test it to make a dog path in my backyard next time it snow. Idk if i'll be able to push it in the grass but i'm going to try.

@@Toolspecs thank you for answering back. Sends like plenty good for me
What a crap
But great video
