At the time these electors tried to enter the Michigan Capital, the Governor certified the Democratic slate of electors. The Speaker of the Michigan House and the Leader of the Senate both indicated that the State legislature would take no action to change the slate of electors. Finally numerous lawsuits challenging the outcome of the election had been dismissed for lack of credible evidence. This group had absolutely no basis for trying to enter the Capital Building. There was no dispute between any of the branches of the Michigan government. Their documents were counterfeited and later fraudulently submitted to the US Senate and the National Archives as genuine. There is every indication that these actions were in furtherance of a wider conspiracy to defraud the people of Michigan and the United States. The fact that it was not successful doesn't mean it wasn't illegal.

I salute you Mme. Secretary, for a job well done.
These Republican frauds belong behind bars. Give them a fair trial but there is a long trail of evidence that is irrefutable. If these type of actions go unpunished then don't complain when our way of living goes away and replaced with an authoritarian regime.
This story is INSANE!!!

The most boring interview question ever: Why did it take this long? I'll tell you why. Watergate took two and a half years. This is FLOODGATE. It ain't over yet.
Go Michigan. After telling the AG Garland about this and nothing was happening. Now Michigan is leading the country by taking a proactive position in this situation instead of waiting for Garland to act. He's way too slow.
Reminder, this is what actual voter fraud looks like 🥰
I'm just here for the right wing whataboutism and I know you are but what am I tactics.

Despite the overt nature of the crime, they still nitpick.
They really have mastered elementary schoolyard tactics. They have exceeded my expectations.
The RW commenters playbook: mocking emojis, gotcha memes, edgy insults, deflection, dismissive feigned boredom, ignorance, or hilarity, disingenuous comments or questions, projection, ad hominems, gaslighting, playing the victim, dog whistles, virtue signaling, strawman arguments, conspiracy theories, false equivalence, whataboutism, racist dog whistles, willful ignorance, lies, scare tactics, threats of civil war.
Anything to avoid presenting an honest argument
