enjoyed watching your videos.. Just started playing anno. Doing the Elector scenario.. After playing a bit. I find it easier to hit 5000 population with only peasants and citizens on Two large Islands, then get a few Patricians going on the 1st large Island... get the bread, beer,books and leather jerkings and Large Trading ships and then Increase Patrician pop. on 1st Island to Max... then do the same with the second large Island... then tackle the nobleman... I like this game... Its fun..

For anyone trying to watch this after youtube removed annotations, there is a addon for chrome called "annotations restored for youtube" that fixes the problem. Working currently as of june 2023

Does anyone have the annotation information saved? I'm getting to the point where I wanted to attempt this but there's no way without laojze's advice :(
The isometric -ish angle in the viewport looks different to my copy, somehow. Also more colour saturated --did you use a custom shader suite waaay back when you uploaded this? o7
At the end i noticed that you build a lot of fields in the south, but did you know that if you put more nornias i one place then the production increases.
One Q why u setle sand island with ARABICK ship...i use european for qeaper PORT and market buildings...their maintanance cost is lower than arabic markets atc...or is there diference witch i cannot see please tell me...
How did you turn the view on 4:53 ? I've noticed that you need to do something with the engine.ini file, but i can't find what i need to do ... Great gameplay btw !! Greetz from belgium
this game talks about a man name Lord Richard Northburg who want to atack the muslims so you joined him and a lot more joined him they are :Cardinal Lucius-Marie D'artois and Guy Forcas so they were training a lot of units to attack the muslims but the Grand Vizier the The serve of the sultan explain to Lord Richard Northburg and you that they want peace so Lord Richard Northburg maked peace between grand vizier and him so Lord Richard Northburg Grand vizier and you decided tto make peace with m'arie d'artois so it taked a long time to make peace with her so in the end we attacked guys forcas and cardinal lucicus was groing stronger that time so he decided to buil a Cathedral to control the world but in the end you stopped him by biulding a stronger Cathedral before him so in the end guy forcas was dead when you were fighting with him in the ships (i know you dont know what im talking about.you need to play the game to know what im talking about) and Cardianl Lucis died by the order of the emperor so in the end the sultan and the emperor decided to make peace.The End
i have the demo for this game and i see why they made it! its horrabl not the game the game is one of the best but its eretating you make this nice big settlement and boof its gone. im getting this ga,e!!!!!!

So do I have to add EnableLargeFOV=1 ?

IN the early game it`s all about money.. and norias are quite expensive

I do have to ask you why you don't start your colony closer to the Oriental area, I usually chose an island that's a bit closer.
