Happiness is when you get a text from your buddy in Portland (I live in Vancouver, Canada) saying she has an extra ticket to the game on Friday night and would I like it?! Of course I'm coming down!!!! So grateful to be able to join the rest of the Thorn fans at Providence Park and cheer on Sincy's last regular season home game. I love that Sincy's focus is on making the playoffs. True Sincy style!!!!
Hi Sinc: You are the Greatest of All Times and I have enjoyed watching you play for the Portland Thorns but came late to Women’s Football (Soccer) and unfortunately did not see your whole career when you have played the Thorns for the past 11 years. But, I was one of the original Portland Timbers fans when the Timbers were established in Portland, Oregon in 1975 when the team went to the Championship but lost. Likewise, I knew you were a relative of the Gant Brothers in British Columbia when they both played for the Timbers. Unfortunately, life got in the way and I stopped following the Timbers as I went off to college in Spokane, Washington, got married, had a kid, and eventually moved to Vancouver, Washington. However, upon my retirement a few years I saw that Portland had a Women’s team and began to follow the team at the end of 2022 up to now. I could tell you were a great Footballer (Soccer Player) and that you meant so much to the fan base by your humility and passion for the game. It must be a familial trait shared by both the Gant and Sinclair families when it comes to playing the “Beautiful Game” as famous men’s player Pele said. Finally, I know you will enjoy retirement Sinc. As a father, take your nieces to Disneyland because they will enjoy Auntie Sinc going on the rides with them. I will tell you it never gets old for them and yourself.
We're the luckiest place on Earth. Thanks for choosing Portland, Sinc. ❤️🌹

Even though she's Canadien, I hope she keeps the goal-scoring record for a long, long time. There will never be another like her.
Katrina's expression @1:00 🤣
