To go into just a little more detail about Mjollmile's concerns: Mjollmile had invited the major merchants that were his friends, ones he trusted and knew well, to the festival. The retail-level merchants came along with them. Mjollmile found it strange that he didn't recognize many of the latter. He investigated this further and discovered that despite him not knowing them, they were all known, legitimate merchants. But Mjollmile still feels a twinge of unease.
We all know Rimuru is idealistic, but it's such an ingrained part of him (even to the point of affecting the Skills he has received), that he finds it pretty natural. Meanwhile, people like Shuna pick up on that guiding principle of his and give a lot more thought to it than he has. Thus the tale of harmony in cuisine.
