Can we talk about how Jane, Jesse , and Kai acted so weird around Lucy. They tried to pivot so she wouldn't know about the surprise party. All three of them who are used to plans going awry couldn't act normal when Lucy got back. Yet Ernie who is the tech guy, and doesn't really deal with plans changing. Who doesn't really have the same training as the other ones. He was acting perfectly normal. He wasn't weird around her like every one else. He was his normal, weird, and perfect self. He didn't care that the plans might have had to change. He was just excited that his best friend was back. I found that interesting. How much better he was at keeping things normal compared to Jesse, Jane and Kai. That's why I love the friendship with Lucy and Ernie. They are best friends, and Ernie was so happy that she was back. There were times in the episodes with Lucy gone, where something happened to Ernie. Or where he was talking to another member of the team. Yeah they helped him, but I couldn't help but think that Lucy would have done a better job. Like when Chase went missing. He had Kate helping him out, but it wasn't the same. The whole time I was thinking. "Ernie needs Lucy right now." She gets him in a way that I don't think the others do. Anyway I digress. The point is that I love Ernie and Lucy. Besides Kacy they are my favorite relationship. So I'm glad that we got a Kacy reunion as much as I'm glad we got a Lucy and Ernie reunion. What would the friendship ship name be for Lucy and Ernie by the way?
