The tape lifter arms are not droping that is the reason you hear the music while is in rewind and ffw.
It's an outstanding nice deck.

My tape is playing backwards. Had to disconnect due to basement reconstruction. Did I hook it up incorrectly
How do u connect. I have an auto transformer

Yeah it does sort of. I have one of these decks and it definitely needs the tape heads serviced.
