Ya know I heard about all that but don’t really know anything almost nothing about cars so I wasn’t sure how to start but this just explained it perfectly thank you.
I've heard the BMWs make for awesome drift cars, for sure those folks always seem to be tearing it up. Appreciate the idea, I'll add it to the list. For more quick reference... topping off fluids, oil changes every other event or so depending on how much the car gets beat on. Then if you have an angle kit or any sort of adjustable control arms those seem to love to come loose, so I generally double-check torque on all of those between every event. Then shake down to check wheel bearings every few events.
I have been wanted to drift irl for a while now and have only have been learning on my dd sim rig. Hopefully some day I can buy a drift car (which are crazy priced right now) and get out there on track
About to upgrade to DD myself, looking like my T300 is on the way out. It's an expensive hobby for sure, planning an upcoming video covering costs of drifting IRL vs drifting on sim.
@@JankyDrift initial entry price is forsure steep for sim drifting but its basically one and done once you get the setup right. But irl is a ongoing money pit im sure
Love me some rally driving, the drifting skillset transfers surprisingly well. Play Dirt Rally 2 on occasion, but unfortunately don't have a lot of spare time for it since jumping into real life drifting.

Glad the video was helpful - Definitely let me know if you have any questions!
First vid of yours I've seen, informative and entertaining you got a new sub ;) Keep it up G
Awesome - New channel that I'm trying to build up so very much appreciate the comment and the sub!
Great video! I’m buying a built drift ‘92 325i this weekend! Would be interested in a video on what kind of maintenance you do before/after events!

Those miata drifters are crazy
I'm glad you decided to invest in yourself I was just talking to my wife about getting a sim to practice rallying why not drifting too

I subscribed because the wallet said it was empty inside
Lol, I'm looking for a spot to work another wallet cameo in.

Great and helpful video. My friend bought a 350Z recently and we’re looking for an angle kit to install. What kind of kit are you rocking?
I'm running the full GKTech angle kit on mine. Not sure how the quality compares to other kits out there but it's been great on my car.
@@JankyDrift thanks for the prompt response brother. Also interested on tyre sizes you run, but that might be an idea for a separate video :)
@@owlfury-beast yeah no problem - I run 245/40/18 on both the front and rear. Like to have a square setup so i can move then around.
@@JankyDrift thanks a lot. makes sense 🙌
