I believe Mr. Big has to be the most gifted banded ever. I use to say it was Rush, player for player they were the most talented band of all time..but Mr. Big has all of the talent of Rush, minus the Drums (I give the edge to Neil Pert) but Mr. Big tops them with vocal harmonies. Eric can sing circles around Getty and the entire band of Mr. Big can all harmonize so beautifully. Amazing talent.
I never said Pat Torpey was mediocre. I said I give the "edge" to Neil Pert. That implies that it is close but Neil is better. Saying someone is even in the same category as Neil Pert is a big deal! If you have not watched Neil, check him out. But, I agree Pat is a great drummer.
