It's a shame Firebird didn't do more arcade ports, as they were nearly always pretty class!
BTW Have you ever considered doing a video on the best polygon based C64 games? There was the assumption the C64 couldn't do polygonal games because of terrible ports of Star Wars and Hard Drivin' but it quite clearly could.

I still have THRUST for my Commodore 64 as
a tape version, and it's still a legendary classic 😺👍🕹️.
RICK DANGEROUS is one of the most brilliant and the most inspiring games, i have ever played on my Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️.
    WAAAAAAH 😹!
    Besides playing SAMURAI WARRIOR:
THE BATTLE OF USAGI YOJIMBO -
which is definitely the best comic book tie-in ever -
I have also read the Stan Sakai comic books,
and it inspired me to practice for drawing my own furry comic arts 🖋️ 🖊️ ✏️ 🖍️ 😺👍.
I have also BUBBLE BOBBLE for my
Commodore 64 as a tape version in a compilation called TAITO COIN-OP HITS 😺👍🕹️.
THE SENTINEL is so legendary, i would like to play it again.
David Whittaker composed an amazing soundtrack 🎶🎵 on the Amiga version of this game 😺👍🕹️.
ELITE - Best. Space shoot 'em up. Ever 😺👍🕹️!

Firebird were awesome m8! I was surprised when you said you hadn't covered them before, so many top games! Lots of nostalgia from this video, played most of these games bitd. Standouts for me are IO, Druid and of course Elite! Like many, that game sucked me in from the get go, I did a 17 hour sesh first time I played it, I still remember the excitement when I purchased the docking computer! No arguing Bubble Bobble is a top port and deserves the top spot. Other favorites of mine are Park Patrol, WarHawk, Pitfall and Chimera. Great list m8

I absolutely adored Usagi Yojimbo. One of the games that really inspired me to explore topics at my local library in my preteen years. I understand it was based on a comic, which i never read, but it was also loosely based on 50 ronin, which was an old Japanese movie? Who would have thought attacking an innocent peasant would make your character fall on his sword? Top game!

The Sentinel was just amazing once I got my head round it, definitely worth the effort to understand it. Elite was just one of those games that shouldnt exist on something like the C64, its a universe in like 40k. Bubble Bobble was and still is possibly the best C64 arcade conversion ever. Nice list of excellent Firebird games. Samurai warrior was probably a little overambitious for its time, as the game is pretty short (not that I've been able to finish it myself though!). If it could have been fleshed out more it would inevitable have had to be a multi load or cartridge game which wasn't desirable at the time. But I read an article somewhere that the authors originally wanted the game to be bigger and have more features etc.
