This piano is a Casio. Stay away from it at all cost. Get a Roland, Korg or Yamaha. Those tend to stand the test of time. My casio started giving me problems in under a year, and I got rid of it. Cheers

@@NjokuSomto Thanks Sommie. I appreciate you listening to my music. I thank GOD that it has been a blessing to you. I give Jesus all the glory. Nice one. God bless you. Please which instrument did you use here? It sounds like The Giant Piano from Native Instruments or is it the Studio Grand Piano - Additive Keys?

Calvin...miss you man! We should put out some music together. I am using the casio as a midi controller. All the sounds in my videos are from piano software samples on computer. This casio sounds really good though. I bought it because it felt better than the roland RD 2000, Yamaha CP 88 and Korg Grandstage, which were the other keyboards I was considering. Love it a lot.
Hi friend, congratulations for your new keybed..., please, tell me more details about your dislike with RD2000, P515 and Grandstage key actions, and why for you Casio is better or felt better, i know, this is a very subjective point, for that reason i only want to listen your experience and personal impressions... Thanks!.
@@ferdearmas8732 P515- Found the keys pretty stiff and wasn't crazy about the sounds. I'd be okay paying $700 for one..but didn't make sense for the asking price. RD2000- I have been trying them for a long time now.I just can't seem to connect with them. I find the key action a bit on the heavier side. I love the electric pianos, and thats about it. not worth paying that much for what it does in my opinion. Grandstage: I actually almost walked away with it. It was the most tempting. I still didn't find the piano to be very expressive, however I though the sounds were pretty awesome and functionality was lovely. All functions are readily accessible. Also has a good build quality...and the keys felt more expressive than that RD2000 and P515. I purchased the casio for several reasons: 1. The keys were very responsive. Going from soft playing to harder playing, you really get that desired dynamic range that you would want, 2. The keybed is less on the heavy side. I spent time with a guy who works at casio and he hammered the keys hard. It was still very expressive. I tend to play softer, so it gave me what I wanted in terms of touch, 3. The keys don't feel sticky. I had a korg krome previously, and the keys felt just a bit sluggish, 4. the asking price best matched the functionality, 5. I actually only need the piano sound to practice, since I only use my keyboard as a midi controller. Had I needed something with lots of sounds, etc...I probably would have gone with something else. The casio is also very light and slim. Based on my budget, I was also able to purchase a dexibell sound module (SX7) along with the casio. :)
Thanks a lot Emmanuel for your very helpful review, I agree with you in that regard, for that reason i like very much Kawai key actions, in my case Kawai MP7 the classical one, with RHII key action, are you tried that one?, is a bit lighter than the new SE version with RHIII, the same in ES8, but the Kawai is very heavy and Casio is a very light instrument for the roadies too, but my priority is the key action, and i think that Casio hit the goal with this new serie..., how compare this key action with Kawai ES7/8 key action?..., i'm looking for a reliable key action too and good sound connection with the sound engine, did you like the px-s3000?, is really worth the $200 price difference?... Thanks again!...
@@ferdearmas8732 Yes, the PX-S3000 is worth the price difference for sure, especially if you intend to use the sounds on the board for live events etc. I think what I tried was the ES8. It was quite a while back. I liked it very much, it was very responsive and give me a lot of room for dynamics (playing soft, playing hard, and playing with medium intensity). If money and weight was not an object, I'd probably get the Kawai. Again, as I said, I don't use the sound on the keyboard. I only use the piano for occasional practice. :)
Yes brother lots of tips based on my own experience and journey.....some of these may not make sense, but I hope you find them helpful: *Learn everything you can get a hand on that you don't find overly advanced *Learn your chords and chord inversions *Learn different styles of Christian music (reggae, ballads, gospel, jazz, CCM...etc). Over time you will find that a lot of skills are transferrable across genres *Pray lots and ask GOD to give you a vision of what he wants you to do with music. Ask him to help you learn efficiently and direct you to the right resources (Philippians 4:6-7) *Don't give up....especially when you feel like you are not making progress. GOD bless you....i plan to shoot a tutorial video soon.
