Thinking about it, with your team composition, the backflipping Rock type Gym Leader Gordie might actually prove a challenge. Let's see how you overcome the type disadvantages (and a poor nature for your Falinks). 1:10 - Ironically, the only person whom I can recall saying something like this to Hop is Bede... of course, Bede said it in a jerkish fashion, but he did at least point it out to Hop. 2:45 - Oh yeah, Secretariat is still part of the team. Yeah, this shouldn't be an issue at all, especially at those absurdly high levels. 5:52 - I love the designs of the Circhester Gym Trainer Girls. So cute! Also helps that grey is my 2nd favourite colour (well, technically it's a shade but still). 10:56 - Turns out you could have walked straight ahead with no issue. I liked this gym puzzle myself; nice utilisation of preexistence game mechanics and it worked well for the Ice and Rock themes (unlike the Fighting/Ghost attempted shared puzzle). Also, maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but wouldn't the HD Rumble of the joy-cons be indicating where not to go as well as the visual indicator? 12:19 - That brief moment of an obstacle didn't last long. 13:14 - No; Sootopolis is the single worst puzzle in the Pokémon series off the top of my head. It's only the one where I've had to persistently look up a guide just to get through the frustration of dealing with it. Heck, it was an ice themed puzzle in a Water gym as well. 19:14 - Surprising lack of healing items on you. I suppose you haven't had a need for them through most this steamrolling playthrough though. 21:20 - Seems you both decided to start things off with set-up. Shame we're not seeing Battle Buds get their gym debut here, as I'm sure Sir Cabby will be enough to wipe Gordie's team. 21:24 - Immediately I am proven wrong; holy heck! 22:17 - An there goes Battle Bud's gym debut. With that level difference I didn't expect there to be any issue, but Barbacle is actually proving quite the challenge. 25:49 - I think it was genius for you to take advantage of Stonjourner's low Special Defence but that play Wonder Room play of Gordie's just out genius'd your genius. 28:07 - Very few things survive a 4X hit. An explosive finish to a fantastically thrilling battle.
@@grinbrothers Yeah the gym battle was more interesting than expected. Barbaracle's & Stojourner's were an interesting surprise & challenge. But once Coalossal came out it was over. I had Mudsdale on here specifically for that reason.
@@Namako_Bushi Agreed; super fun to watch it's exciting development, especially after you had easily decimated all of Gordie's gym prior to this battle.
BOJACK MENTIONED 🕺🕺🕺
