He knew Little J would follow behind, but peered over his shoulder a few times to make sure! Jabali isn't afraid of Daddy, at all, but I think he respects Daddy's space and is impressed with his huge canine teeth! 🦍🦷😳🥰 I wonder if Jabali ever thinks something like, "I want to look like this one day!" Lol Little J sure has become a VERY confident little silverback-in-training! (Albeit "sometimes" 😂 naughty and annoying. He's so precious and loved, as is Ringo.)

He seems to really love his little ones, anyones little ones Even my favourite Momotaro family at Kyoto City Zoo, Momotaro is a really good Dad despite never growing up with his own dad, hes still good But D'Jecco is something else! He just loves the little ones I once saw him with his own baby Ringo plus 3 other babies not his own & he let them crawl all over him, he tickled them & played with them.. what a Dad! Maybe because you never saw Shabani from Japan. He raised his daughter since she was a baby, groomed her and protected her even today. He always plays with his son Kiyo and is very affectionate and loving to his kids!

I'm almost torn now between Shabani and D'jeeco being the best Gorrilla Dad ever. I'm still on team Shabani until I see how D'jeeco is when his boys are older.

Aww. I never seen this gorilla family before. I always watch Momo's family. Baby gorillas have no fear of their gigantic dads, or their dads big teeth. Such a sweet moment!
This was so cute. I also have only watched the momo family, Genki would never let kintaro close to momo like that, and he's also a very gentle daddy. She's only recently starting to finally ease up a bit. This was so different, and i just love it!! And i think that was mom even running up and hugging dad, again, Genki would never! 😂 I gotta follow this family now too. ❤️
Awww, the only one who played with Jabali at that time was D'Jeeco. Iriki would not let Jabali near Ringo because he was too little, just about a few months old, and Tayari always made it seem she didn't want anything to do with him because she was very young, about 10 years old when she birthed him, and may not have had much experience in watching females care for their babies. D'Jeeco was basically Jabali's caregiver. Also, we all would worry about Jabali because Tayari would feed him every now and then, but push him away sometimes.
Ringo and Jabali, but even more so Ringo, are exceptionally smart, funny, caring, and loving. Thecway the brothers play and investigate their environment is almost exactly like human kids.

D'jeeco is an exceptionally loving, protective, playful, intelligent, compassionate, extremely handsome gorilla father. I adore him
You can tell he's an amazing dad because the moms are so relaxed about him being with their babies.

Yup, it seems like female gorilla's have evolved to be attracted to less violent males and the males have also evolved to adapt to that.
