Como ouvinte sempre eh um prazer ouvir seu violão por mais simples q seja o arranjo. Sobretudo músicas q remetem a minha cultura. Brasileira, latino americana.
Minha playlist cresce. ☺️
Sorry, but Besame Mucho is *not* a Bossa-Nova. It's a Bolero, written in Mexico in 1940 (the album regarded as the birth of Bossa-Nova is from 1958). Bossa is a Brazilian style of music, originated with the mix of Afro-Brazilian rhythms of Samba and Afro-American Jazz; Bolero has different origins, in Cuba - it has a very different rhythmic structure and way simpler harmony. I believe it's important to correct this and spread right information on the web. Thanks.
Hi Fabio, I am aware of the origins of the song as well as the different styles of Latin-American music. As I write in the description, this arrangement is based on Joao Gilbertos version of the song, which was recorded in 1977 on the album "Amoroso". It has indeed some interesting reharmonizations (which are included in the PDF, but not in this video) and is played with a typical Bossa Nova guitar accompaniement. Thanks.
Was this quick lesson helpful to you in your guitar journey? Any suggestions are welcome, let me know in the comments!
