well, being french myself, I can assure you that they respected the english lyrics very well, it's not a word-to-word translation, but it means closely the same thing =D

Ils sont allemands, ils sont donc très proches de la France et il est loin d'être impossible qu'ils connaissent la langue de Molière. Une de mes chansons favorites, mais je préfère la version anglaise.
