Mikey and his new gang wasnt the time leapers, but Shinichiro, Mikey's brother. For now it wasn't showed how we've come to this but the first version of mikey died because of a toy, which then lead for shinichiro to find an old man that time leap and killed him to obtain the power? he then jumped unto a body of muddy water and time leaped to where mikey was still a kid that's all up to the latest chapter

Not entirely sure. Back then they were under the command of Osanai. For some reason I don't think Hanma had that kind of thing in mind since his targets were Mikey and Draken.

Isn't the whole point of the show to go back in time to prevent deaths?.......so what's the point of killing anyone off if you know it can be reversed lol?
Well,it's complicated
If somoene die in the futur,the MC can go back to time and save them
But if somoene die in the past The Mc can't save them.
For an exemple hinata died in a futur where she got killed by the toman(as an adult),she can be saved since,he go back in time to save her but Baji can't be saved since he was dead in the past(as a teen)
Since the MC can only go back in time to exactly 12 years it can’t be undone if a character dies on October 31st and the MC goes back in time to November 1st then it’s no longer possible to save that person.
But since lots of characters are dying then either we get a happy ending where the MC saves everyone by removing his restriction or we get a neutral ending where he saves those who stayed alive.

@@Shifty51991 The problem with that is that he couldn’t meet Mikey in the future since he had no way of contacting him so it wouldn’t work and he does end up telling Mikey in the past but it led to a bad future
