Do I have to spray clear coat before I use these compounds or can I just apply them directly onto the painted surface since I do not want my chrome finish to get scratched and redo the whole thing again.
Why do modellers spend a lot of time polishing the cockpit clear canopies? I've noticed from photos of actual aircraft, especially WW2 that the canopies aren't exactly crystal clear,so it would seem that if you're trying to make a model more realistic you wouldn't be polishing so much.
How do you recommend cleaning these cloths after use. I'm hesitant to use my cloth at the moment due to a warning stating "May shrink or fray from washing". Is there a way to clean off residue from the polishing compound, or should I just leave the compound on the cloth?

JUN H you need clearcoat.
Exactly the answer to a question I just asked. Thanks. Looks to be a great system
Excellent!
I have one question if I may, can I use just the finish to remove scratches?
On light scratches yes
We would like to see these in action!
Hi, this compound will work with any spray can paint?
These micro fiber cloths, are these like the same that come with glasses cases?

They are fine. I've just left mine on he cloth as I haven't used them enough to use up the whole cloth yet...lol
Hi can I ask where you got your water container brush holder by your mug with brushes in cheers
Is it good to apply this just for protecting your paint job or i really should spray gloss coat to protect my paint job?
Clear coat it first
Nice review...Have you tried the Novus 1-2-3 polish system, and if so, how does Tamiya compare to it...Thanks...
Cheers - I haven't tried Novus at all - Don't think you can get it here in the UK.
Can i use with acrylics?
What are the cloths used for i didn't understand😅
Are the micro fiber clothes the same as the clothes you use for cleaning spectacles?
Yes, I think so, only bigger :)
I have a question for you. Do you dip your canopies in Future or do you just use the compounds?
Thanks
I ALWAYS dip my canopies in Klear, it really does make them better. I only use the compound if I have to :)
do u know how to remove cement from clear plastics after they dried?
Sorry what I meant was that if I sprayed a model car with to tamiya could I just only use the finish compound?
No, you would have to lay down several coats of gloss to get the shine :)
Ok cheers
how do these compare with finisher's professional compound
What site did you buy the compounds from? And can I use just the finish compound after I have painted a model car?
Cheers
Hi Harry - I got them from HLJ and not sure what you mean about the car mate...
Nice review thanks .

Yes I guess so
Never bought the cloths I use spec savers clean cloths.
