Probably thought it was better to exhaust it out of the deck to make draws more consistent, rather than it only doing something on 1/3 turns. Much better to draw another tantrum or whatever. Especially with calipers mean he can bank block from the buff/debuffs turns.

my winrate with watcher is like 80% compared to like 20% on ironclad I think she’s busted

Watcher runs into balancing issues because she deals insane damage, has retain, and the best block cards in the game (talk to the hand, wallop shouldn't have been made). Ironclad and Silent were made during a time in the game where you won through careful card management and nice scaling. The defect already made things bad with the orbs/focus being broken. Because everything focus is broken the Defect is a weird character that either is winning hard or losing hard.
For the Watcher they didn't make the same mistakes as with the defect but the Watcher's damage output is still completely insane.

@@tomvandalen2212 are we talking A20 here? The defect broken? If you see 100 Focus for sure but setting up and getting there...its like saying ironclad ist broken due to corruption Branch...the watcher is way more unbalanced due to not much turns for setting up needed

I think she is fine. I belive I have a better winrate with Ironclad on a20 than Watcher and I know I have a better winrate with a20 Ironclad without snecko eye than a20 Watcher without snecko eye.

@@WingedEspeon watcher is pretty complicated but has too much stuft going for her. No energy problems even at 3 energy, easiest act1 even with the starter deck and you can build sick decks without any rares at all.

Not saying this is good gameplay mechanics, but I think it would be more fun if blasphemy dealt like 500 damage or something rather then outright killing you. Stupid fun decks might actually be able to block for that much.

Marisa Kirisame it’s actually 999,999 damage I believe. But yes intangible is one of the few ways to mitigate it. Of course the best way to mitigate it is to win the fight that turn ;)

@@marisakirisame1394 It should work, as does Intangible (2 stacks) and Buffer iirc, but Orange Pellets does not as you receive a buff, not a debuff.
