I've ridden a 1976 YT175 Trials since it was new. I consider it my mechanical horse which goes some extreme places. I've never ridden a modern or European made Trials bike. I think that I might like it a lot.
I have a mate with a brand new vertigo the Fi started playing up after 3 weeks after many parts sent from remote dealer bike has been shipped back to get sorted pretty frustrating so maybe it’s worth putting up with the fluff till Fi is proven like it is on the 4 strokes .😁
Great short review on the 250 gasser. I used to own a vertigo dl 250 and now have 23 txt racing. I much prefer the gasser in every way. I find its a very easy bike to own and ride. Working on it and keeping it maintained is a doddle compared to the vertigo. My favourite part of the vertigo was the induction sound, loved that. There is so much to like about the txt in day to day ownership.
Hi mate, appreciate your review here. I’m on the fence in between getting 24’ txt 250 or a vertigo. Your comment definitely sways me towards the gasser. I currently ride a 2021 txt 280 which I really like, have you ridden any of the older models? Just wondering how different the new 250 will be to my 21’ 280.
I bought my first trials bike resently a 2010 Gas Gas 300. I am just wondering what makes the new bikes better? Would a beginner trials rider notice the difference?
Oh man , bit of regret you bought the sherco ??? I just sold my 4T factory for a TRS 300 it's different that's for sure !! Going to be ordering a hoody soon. As for fuel injection, it's ok if you have a dealer that can fix it when it goes wrong, here in Nova Scotia we had a gas gas dealer and a beta dealer, that's it. I can fix a carb, but I know of at least one vertigo that has fuel injection issues the owner can't get it fixed Coz it needs a laptop with the right software to fix it and it's just not there so it's parked. Cheers
Hey man and thanks for this comment! I get ya and it’s true it can be a pain to fix the bike when you don’t have the software but I have never had an issue with the Fi…but if I were you guys out in Nova Scotia I would go with a carb too!
I bought a 2023 TXT 300 and have been trying to start it since August. I cannot get this bike to start. The dealership has no problem but I find it impossible to start. Tried all of the ideas I was given. Get up on the bike. Nope that doesn't work. Roll it back in 2 ne gear then kick it. Nope no go. Lay it on it's side until gas is running out. Nope that's a no go. Can you please please please tell me the secret to starting this motorcycle?
Sad to hear you are struggling! I suppose the best way for me to do this is to list a “procedure”: Step one (if cold) - Turn on Fuel and apply choke. Step Two - Check lanyard is connected Step three - pull out kickstart, lift leg and hold leg on kick start but make sure the kick start isn’t supporting the weight of your leg. Step 4 - Apply a small amount of pressure to the kick start until you feel the kickstart apply pressure back. When this happens you have reached the point of compression. Step 5 - looking at your foot you are going to aim to hit your peg with your foot as your stroke the kickstart. When you are ready to “kick” the. Ike from this compression point make sure the movement is a sharp and strong “whip like” motion. Make sure you aim for that peg as not to slip off! Hope that helped?
"the first 2 remarkable things are footpegs and sound " ... wtf let alone what it said afterwards wtf again, What a review!!!!!!!! this and nothing are the same
@@f.c.2831 sorry, you are going to have to explain. Have I made a mistake? Appreciate the explanation. Sorry if you are from a country that's none English speaking also.
Thank you for the reply 👍
No problem 👍
Another awesome video, short but to the point!
Much appreciated!
I used to have Gas Gas Jt 16 1996. The way you described the power as toned down. Remind of this bike. I always love riding Gas Gas.
The 250 at this time really is that bike!
Great vid as always mucker. Gasser does really suit you too 👌
Don’t go saying that now lol
Love an honest review
Do my best!!!

I reckon you would the advancement is insane
Sounds like what need as a first time trials rider. A 300 at times can definitely try to jump out from under you while learning.
I would never recommend a 300 for a learner, this would suit you lovely!

That’s true, but I never had any issues. (4 consecutive bikes later)
@@TrialTube yeah it’s just luck of the draw unfortunately Fi trials bike roulette 😆
Gotta love a gasser ❤ or 2 or 3 ive lost count how many i have want own 😂
That’s the spirit!!!
fluffy off the bottom? Maybe a half turn out on the air screw was needed...
It has never been revved to be fair

Hi we're is the ecu on the bike how water proof is it
No Ecu as it’s on a Carb, but the cdi is pretty tucked away 🤘
Enjoyed that , looks a great bike . Real life clubman bike with the mods .
It is indeed, a very nice “clubman” specific bike!
I want one!
Many do!

Any level rider feels bike differences and the new gasser deletes the problems of the previous one. As well as being built like a KTM!!!
@@TrialTube I'm not in the loop. What problems did the older ones have? Thanks.

What a review!!!!!!!! this and nothing are the same
You are alway going to notice the initial contacts to the bike first 🤷🏻
@@TrialTube because both, initial and final r the same wtf
Sorry I don’t get your meaning?

Woop!
Good comment!! Just joking thanks for watching man!!!
where u sposed to sit
On a chair after riding! 😉🤣
Guessing you're going to trade that pig iron in for a proper trials bike now.🤣
Haha what could you mean?
FI is over rated. Install a smart carb and you are all set. The perfect bike!
Don’t know many folk that have put the smart carb on a trials bike yet…
This really is a nice bike, as good as the scorpa,,,? I don't know but I like it.your riding skill is a little above this bike I think
Yes, you are right, I would say when it comes to the way the bike is set up I was too mellow for me of course.
Please define "fluffy"...
unresponsive off the throttle on the bottom end of the rev range
So then the bike requires a consistent, high revving clear out, feeling to ensure that the bike reacts accordingly.
Got it! Thanks for that.
break your rear fender $400,00 Canadian, can't fit S3 pegs, special mounts!,
That expensive. You are right the pegs are not replaceable but are decent to begin with!
