- Hello friends! The video that I made last year similar to this seemed to be helpful to those going to a camp so here is my 2019 edition! One of my favorite times of the year is church camp. There is something about summer camp that is unlike anything else. Let me know if you have already gone to a summer camp or are heading to a camp soon!!! Much love for you all. Have a blessed one.

Now that I am back from camp... I can officially say that I overpacked hahaha. Who else is an over packer??? Also. Not filmed: realizing I didn't pack a swimsuit! Don't forget that.

This quarantine has got my brain confused! I’m not going to school everyday so I feel like it’s almost time for camp. I’m watching tons of these videos because I’ve been praying that church camp won’t get canceled and just because I miss it so much!

Ruthie. Bby I am not sure about your camp but mosts camp don’t allow phones. I don’t recommend it because camp is supposed to be having fun without electronics.

Yea Camp is Pretty cool as you Stated towards the End of the Vid we have the Opportunity to Focus and Reflect on him. It's really cool how that Happens and it Makes me Happy knowing that he's being Glorified in the things that I'm doing for him 😇

Loved your video. I am a scouter and learned years ago how to pack lightly so that was a crazy amount of stuff to me but I think you had a valid reason for most of it (I will never understand taking curlers and strainers to camp but I also rarely use them). I am staffing scout camp this summer for 6weeks and am working on retraining my brain that it is ok to pack more than a backpack’s worth of stuff lol. I think I am going to end up with more stuff for 6 weeks of camp than I did for 8 weeks in Europe 😅

I go to a Christian camp and my fav thing ab it is morning and night encounter w the Lord. I like the night encounter because we sing worship songs and I love it so much!!!! we also have FOB (flat on back) time and free time for 2 hours with a snack store!!!!

If I could I would pack if I was going for a 5-day Camp I would pack
8 pairs of underwear
9 pairs of socks
8 shirts
I still have like three months to wait but I already to excitedly so I had to watch packing video
Love it! Also who can relate that in church camp they never had time to have a skin care routine or do there hair nice 😂but much love!❤️

I’m about to go church camp on the seventh and I’m really nervous because I’m not athletic at all and I’ve gone a few times before and had panic attacks every day the last time I went. Please give me advice!
As for not being athletic... All you can do is give your best!!! Other people's opinions don't really matter. Don't stress about what others might think. Everyone has their own gifts and talents. It's ok if yours is not sports!!! Pray before going to camp, that you will have peace knowing that God is with you. God is always there to comfort our anxious hearts. Sometimes I have to just take a deep breath and remember that. God loves you dearly! I hope that you have fun!❤️

I am 13 and in 14 days I am going to church camp for the first time. My dad is a priest so I can’t believe I’ve never went but I’m Greek Orthodox and it’s going to be only 5 days and I don’t know if I should be excited or scared because really what I am most scared about is the public bathrooms and I really don’t like public bathrooms. But anyway I think your so sweet. Also I’m not even bringing a quarter of the toilet trees that your bringing should I be worried. Also what religion are you, I am Christian Greek Orthodox.

I can’t go to church camp that I grew up at anymore because I’m too old to be a camper, and I have autism so I’m not able to be a counselor. As a camper, they were able to accommodate me, but as a counselor, I would have to be watching other people, and that just wouldn’t work. It makes me sad.
