To be fair, I probably wasn’t the first animator to create those forms. I can’t speak to it because I just don’t know. We all know the fandom is filled with people who immediately take any new form that come out in DB and they bastardize it by applying it to every and all preexisting characters.
I do like the fact that after 100 years, Evil Goku's Super Saiyan is on par, if a bit under Super Saiyan Rose, taking the quote, "You'll need 100 years of training to beat me!" to a new level.

I think the most important part of this animation was when Evil Goku said thank you to Goku and tried to help him not get sucked into the portal. I think this shows that while they're still fighting each other, that over time, they've begone to slowly become friends/rivals. This is further proven when Goku decided to help Evil Goku in the clash
I mean, after spending an entire 100 years fighting each other, yet as we see at the end of Goku vs Evil Goku IV, eating, drinking and possibly sleeping together, plus Goku just enjoying the fight itself, eventually Evil Goku's "PTSD"/rage over his first loss to Goku subsides. The fighting continued, but the negative emotion behind it disappeared. At least, to the degree of normal Evil Goku, not Evil Goku hallucinating a mocking Goku degree. Evil Goku may never redeem himself, let alone want to, but he at least is recapturing the Goku he had been on Earth, not the Destroyer of Worlds he became.
16:33 It's a small thing but I love the delay between the " *KAIOKEN!* " and the aura burst, unlike the actual show where it bursts immediately. Makes it feel more powerful.
I swear, I had to pause a few times to let my mind catch up to what I saw. Everything was very well thought out and executed. The animationd, effects, and all the scenes that happened. The one that got me most was when the clash started again, just after Evil Goku turned Super Saiyan 3. Not gonna lie, this felt way more intense than even normal Dragon Ball battles. You did amazingly.
4:39 I think the two of them like it here, two dead guys constantly fighting each other constantly growing stronger for all eternity. Pushing the other to their limits, this is literally Saiyan heaven. Why would they leave.
I remember watching the Goku vs Evil Goku series YEARS ago (I vividly remember the Ultimate Tenkaichi one as I was obsessed with the game at the time). This was such a nice throwback to those animations and after reading the document in the description I am fully invested in the story again and I REALLY hope we get to see a lot more content in the future. This is probably my favorite fan story out there. Keep up the good work :) Edit: Something else that I found super impressive was how well you were able to create dialogue and conversation using existing audio clips and voice lines from games and other media that had said voice lines used in a completely different context. That is something that I have NEVER seen another animation do better than this one. GREAT job.
Watching this again I love how Evil Goku realized the threat of Goku Black. Using his shadow to study how the foe fought and then seeing Zamasu just keep up and even surpass Evil in terms of power. Sure he first enjoyed the challenge but an enemy that evolves faster than you made Evil go full power to try and end the fight before Zamasu had the chance to go SSJ4. Great story telling

This is A Clash between The Goku Who Fully gave into his Role as a Villain after Losing his Wife and Unborn child and thus Became the Destroyer of Worlds and Eventually Met His Positive Counterpart Resulting in him achieving higher levels of power due to their clashes, The Other A Genocidal Self Entitled God Who Stole the Body of a Hero who believes mortals to be a stain that must be eradicated as a result of his Insanity, Their battle will be a legendary one for the ages. Also I look forward to reading the prequel manga that details evil goku’s life, as well as the various reactions to this quite superb animation, and the release of goku versus z, also after reading the story document it answered any all questions I had and piqued my interest for what other transformations for evil goku you might have in goku versus z.
John Zhou I saw the document with the backstories for both, I unfortunately was at the time had a rather painful headache after I helped my brother get some salvageable stuff out of his burnt apartment, and yes evil goku is evil, but even he had people he loved before he went full on destroyer, goku black came up because he’s a narcissistic god whose elegance and divinity went to his head along with black and white Insanity by refusing to acknowledge shades of gray and that both mortals and gods were flawed.

Yo, this is pure HYPE!! Not only cuz it's another entry in the Evil Goku saga which I've got hella nostalgia for, but the fact that this pays so much homage to the original series! From the techniques the characters use with the slightest variation (I LOVE Black's spear attack, I might need to yoink that for something myself, haha) to the choreography itself, anyone can tell you CARE about making this feel like Dragon Ball. I hate using the phrase "x makes it *feel* like y" but it's true here, this is just hella Dragon Ball! Great job!!!
After watching this, this has me so stoked for the future and wanting so much more (in a good way lmao)!!! That little scene of Evil Goku with the time ring got me thinking, what if he took the time ring and somehow used it to become a God/Devil (since he's evil) in response to how Black became a SS4 (Rose), or what if in here Black achieved UI? I suppose there's GVZ to look forward to, which I'm definitely hyped for!!! I just gotta hope for the return of my favorite Goku of RHH's series, Savage(?) Goku ;v;
My god Red, I can't even begin to put into words what i just saw. It was incredible, with fantastic action, ideas I couldn't begin to predict(SSR 2, 3 AND 4? I mean wow) and shots that just... my mind! I loved the music, I recognized some orchestrations from Android Orchestra I believe? Also, I'm so glad I got to see the aftermath of Goku vs Evil Goku 4.Overall, it was very cool, yet felt surprisingly short. And the story, oh my god the story! Let me begin by saying that I love the fact that it was the portal device that Vegeta built causing all of this. It makes sense, and it give a lot of weight to it, specially since it also caused Goku VS. Goku and Evil Goku fighting for 100 years, having Evil Goku win most of their confrontations is wild. You mean to tell me Vegeta, Piccolo and Shin have been watching the entire time without intervening? Anyway, that makes it much easier to believe that Evil Goku would be on par with Goku Black, even with God Ki. The fight was out of this world, but we already know that. I liked that Goku Black was continuously adapting throughout, but i didn't expect him to go SSR 4(sounds like a Dokan card) since his godly demeanor would find the form primitive and brutish. When Evil Goku got hold of the time ring, I shuddered a little. Just imagine what he would do with it in pursuit of unfiltered carnage, unlike Goku Black. No time line would be safe. The flashbacks about Evil Chi-Chi, which was somewhat teased in Evill Goku vs Buu, were a super nice touch, bringing a sense of tragedy to his story. Who killed her though? That would be interesting to see in the Evil Goku comics you mentioned. I felt such a rush when gt Goku stood side by side with Evil Goku to help in the beam struggle. I guess after 100 years, deadly enemies become strong rivals? Either way, it was awesome and I loved to see it. And when the portal opened in the after credits and the logo for Goku VS Z appeared i nearly fell out of my seat. Its finally happening y'all! I will begin working on the Goku sprite ASAP. And to end, I will say that seeing "the adventure concludes" brought a tear to my eye. It fells sad yet refreshing that a story I've been following for almost 9 years come to close. From the bottom of my nostalgia filled heart, thank you so much for the amazing memories and moments of my childhood you help create. This was fucking amazing, and I can't wait for whatever you put out next. Godspeed, you magnificent bastard. Godspeed.

The Gentle Duck, no one was waiting for any of this. So I feel you man, and I can't think that the story of Evil Goku is gonna end possibly in Goku Versus Z. I am also impressed that Evil Goku and Goku they fought for 100 years. Another is the part of Evil Chi Chi and Evil Goku and also that he was goin to have a son, that moment surprised me and now that I know that is technically the end, I am feeling bad because of Evil Goku cause he lost his wife and son and he will never get them back. I wish that the end of this story would be with a reunion of Evil Goku with his wife and maybe his son. So yeah, I feel you man, I feel you.
@@theredheadhenry I love the work you do and with this I think this is Evil Goku story: Evil Goku is a person in pain. Evil Goku was dark but when he met Chi Chi something would change. Chi Chi would realize that she could change Evil Goku with her love. That love would change Evil Goku and later he would realize he needed someone else to love, to protect... making that he would let Chi Chi pregnant. That would make him slowly someone good until Chi Chi die. When she die, Evil Goku not just he lost his wife, also his son. That would make Evil Goku and evil person, he was in pain and he now wanted everyone to feel like him or worse, and the only thing he had left was being the strongest, but when Goku beat him... he would realize that he lost everything again. But he din't want to feel that pain again making him wanting to beat Goku so he could not feel that pain once more. That's why in the end Goku and Evil Goku became friends at the end, because he was with him for a long time and Goku at one point would know all that pain that Evil Goku would had in the past and why he wanted to beat him, that would make Goku see that Evil Goku wasn't that evil at all, it was just that he din't wanted to feel that pain again.

Bruh, you had me cheering on for Goku Black for like, the majority of it since he is one of my favorite villains in super. But with that ending though with GT Goku and Evil Goku pulling off a double KaMeHaMeHa was pulled out of left field so hard that my mouth literally dropped my guy. Also, with that post-credit scene with GT Goku being dragged into another universe and Evil Goku trying to stop him. And that Goku Verses Z teaser was wild!!! Even with Goku Black going to the Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe was creaze too!! You did a good ass job my guy with this video and the story telling. It was amazing!!!
Also, I forgot to add something in when I initially wrote the comment. Personally, I think that Goku Black being pulled back to the future/his universe at the end of the video was a nice touch of consistency for the character and how it was a reference to Dragon Ball Super Broly. With Goku Black being sent back to the place he came from, just like Broly.
Caught up on the series over night. Other than some odd 3D angles in the fight, this was pretty spectacular. Both are pretty interesting villains for the most part so seeing their personalities and strengths clash was epic.
So Goku Versus Z is always a thing ? I am very proud of knowing Evil Goku when i was a kid and now it's will finish soon But you should be the most proud because you made (probably) the BEST dbz villain possible and even after more than 10 years you are finally going to end his arc

Honestly something that should be noted: Evil Goku totally would have won against Goku Black in base form. With their base energies, he would dominate, as he did at the beginning. But once Goku Black started tapping into Super Saiyan transformations because of Evil Goku, Godly Ki would then pull him ahead at the same transformation level.

The only thing I could say I didn't like was that I miss your old aura effects you would use like in Goku Versus onward, although these ones are more anime-accurate. @@theredheadhenry out of curiosity, why are the aura effects different in this animation? Got pretty used to your custom effect, same goes for the Kamehameha effects. I'm assuming these new ones are easier to implement into your unique camera angles and stuff like that?
A combination of wanting to try something different/more anime looking. And also not wanting to do the old fluid energetic old one, but showcase Blacks Rose aura as more fluid and energetic.

I love the idea of two alternate versions of GT Goku fighting and training for 100 years. Resulting to them being so strong that all there normal Super Saiyan transformations are on par with there god equivalent, until you get to God-SS4. Also it makes me wonder how insanely powerful they would become of they also mastered God-Ki.
I would really prefer it if you stick with just the 2D animation, including a 2D background and effects because there is a lot you can do with that as well, but I absolutely love the way you crafted such a beautiful and elegant story! Keep going!

Something I’ve always wondered, is the Otherworld in Dragon Ball where every living being in *every* universe goes when they die? Like, if Hit died in his universe, would he go to the same Otherworld that Goku went too when he first died? I really wish they expanded more on Otherworld in Super. As much as I like the other Universes, Otherworld was always an interesting concept to me. It’s literally where Goku first learned how to become Super Saiyan 3, because he didn’t have a limit to his life force/ki, since he was dead. That was why King Kai warned him not to use it against Majin Buu, because it drained the rest of the time he had on Earth. And when he went against Kid Buu, that was why he couldn’t regain his ki, because he was using SSJ3 too much, and it drained his body. Dragon Ball Super is alright, but I wish it would expand more on stuff previously brought up in the story, while also looking at some new things it introduces.
Since evil goku basically on the gt path it would have been nice to see omega shenron involved some type of way bit man i keep coming to animation it's good af

I remember watching the Goku vs Evil Goku series YEARS ago (I vividly remember the Ultimate Tenkaichi one as I was obsessed with the game at the time). This was such a nice throwback to those animations and after reading the document in the description I am fully invested in the story again and I REALLY hope we get to see a lot more content in the future. This is probably my favorite fan story out there. Keep up the good work :)
Edit: Something else that I found super impressive was how well you were able to create dialogue and conversation using existing audio clips and voice lines from games and other media that had said voice lines used in a completely different context. That is something that I have NEVER seen another animation do better than this one. GREAT job.

Watching this again I love how Evil Goku realized the threat of Goku Black. Using his shadow to study how the foe fought and then seeing Zamasu just keep up and even surpass Evil in terms of power. Sure he first enjoyed the challenge but an enemy that evolves faster than you made Evil go full power to try and end the fight before Zamasu had the chance to go SSJ4. Great story telling
He even waited when Goku black fell into the lava, unlike a lot of villains who immediately assume the enemy was dead

YES the fight everyone wanted and you did more than deliver. I haven't seen a goku fight this good since GT and Super went head to head in hyrenjutsu's video and GOKU VERSES Z?! HYPE train just opened up.
This is A Clash between The Goku Who Fully gave into his Role as a Villain after Losing his Wife and Unborn child and thus Became the Destroyer of Worlds and Eventually Met His Positive Counterpart Resulting in him achieving higher levels of power due to their clashes, The Other A Genocidal Self Entitled God Who Stole the Body of a Hero who believes mortals to be a stain that must be eradicated as a result of his Insanity, Their battle will be a legendary one for the ages. Also I look forward to reading the prequel manga that details evil goku’s life, as well as the various reactions to this quite superb animation, and the release of goku versus z, also after reading the story document it answered any all questions I had and piqued my interest for what other transformations for evil goku you might have in goku versus z.

John Zhou I saw the document with the backstories for both, I unfortunately was at the time had a rather painful headache after I helped my brother get some salvageable stuff out of his burnt apartment, and yes evil goku is evil, but even he had people he loved before he went full on destroyer, goku black came up because he’s a narcissistic god whose elegance and divinity went to his head along with black and white Insanity by refusing to acknowledge shades of gray and that both mortals and gods were flawed.

Yo, this is pure HYPE!! Not only cuz it's another entry in the Evil Goku saga which I've got hella nostalgia for, but the fact that this pays so much homage to the original series! From the techniques the characters use with the slightest variation (I LOVE Black's spear attack, I might need to yoink that for something myself, haha) to the choreography itself, anyone can tell you CARE about making this feel like Dragon Ball. I hate using the phrase "x makes it *feel* like y" but it's true here, this is just hella Dragon Ball! Great job!!!
After watching this, this has me so stoked for the future and wanting so much more (in a good way lmao)!!! That little scene of Evil Goku with the time ring got me thinking, what if he took the time ring and somehow used it to become a God/Devil (since he's evil) in response to how Black became a SS4 (Rose), or what if in here Black achieved UI? I suppose there's GVZ to look forward to, which I'm definitely hyped for!!! I just gotta hope for the return of my favorite Goku of RHH's series, Savage(?) Goku ;v;

My god Red, I can't even begin to put into words what i just saw. It was incredible, with fantastic action, ideas I couldn't begin to predict(SSR 2, 3 AND 4? I mean wow) and shots that just... my mind!
I loved the music, I recognized some orchestrations from Android Orchestra I believe? Also, I'm so glad I got to see the aftermath of Goku vs Evil Goku 4.Overall, it was very cool, yet felt surprisingly short.
And the story, oh my god the story! Let me begin by saying that I love the fact that it was the portal device that Vegeta built causing all of this. It makes sense, and it give a lot of weight to it, specially since it also caused Goku VS.
Goku and Evil Goku fighting for 100 years, having Evil Goku win most of their confrontations is wild. You mean to tell me Vegeta, Piccolo and Shin have been watching the entire time without intervening? Anyway, that makes it much easier to believe that Evil Goku would be on par with Goku Black, even with God Ki. The fight was out of this world, but we already know that. I liked that Goku Black was continuously adapting throughout, but i didn't expect him to go SSR 4(sounds like a Dokan card) since his godly demeanor would find the form primitive and brutish.
When Evil Goku got hold of the time ring, I shuddered a little. Just imagine what he would do with it in pursuit of unfiltered carnage, unlike Goku Black. No time line would be safe.
The flashbacks about Evil Chi-Chi, which was somewhat teased in Evill Goku vs Buu, were a super nice touch, bringing a sense of tragedy to his story. Who killed her though? That would be interesting to see in the Evil Goku comics you mentioned.
I felt such a rush when gt Goku stood side by side with Evil Goku to help in the beam struggle. I guess after 100 years, deadly enemies become strong rivals? Either way, it was awesome and I loved to see it. And when the portal opened in the after credits and the logo for Goku VS Z appeared i nearly fell out of my seat. Its finally happening y'all! I will begin working on the Goku sprite ASAP.
And to end, I will say that seeing "the adventure concludes" brought a tear to my eye. It fells sad yet refreshing that a story I've been following for almost 9 years come to close. From the bottom of my nostalgia filled heart, thank you so much for the amazing memories and moments of my childhood you help create. This was fucking amazing, and I can't wait for whatever you put out next. Godspeed, you magnificent bastard. Godspeed.

The Gentle Duck, no one was waiting for any of this. So I feel you man, and I can't think that the story of Evil Goku is gonna end possibly in Goku Versus Z. I am also impressed that Evil Goku and Goku they fought for 100 years. Another is the part of Evil Chi Chi and Evil Goku and also that he was goin to have a son, that moment surprised me and now that I know that is technically the end, I am feeling bad because of Evil Goku cause he lost his wife and son and he will never get them back. I wish that the end of this story would be with a reunion of Evil Goku with his wife and maybe his son. So yeah, I feel you man, I feel you.

Evil Goku is a person in pain. Evil Goku was dark but when he met Chi Chi something would change. Chi Chi would realize that she could change Evil Goku with her love. That love would change Evil Goku and later he would realize he needed someone else to love, to protect... making that he would let Chi Chi pregnant. That would make him slowly someone good until Chi Chi die. When she die, Evil Goku not just he lost his wife, also his son. That would make Evil Goku and evil person, he was in pain and he now wanted everyone to feel like him or worse, and the only thing he had left was being the strongest, but when Goku beat him... he would realize that he lost everything again. But he din't want to feel that pain again making him wanting to beat Goku so he could not feel that pain once more. That's why in the end Goku and Evil Goku became friends at the end, because he was with him for a long time and Goku at one point would know all that pain that Evil Goku would had in the past and why he wanted to beat him, that would make Goku see that Evil Goku wasn't that evil at all, it was just that he din't wanted to feel that pain again.

Bruh, you had me cheering on for Goku Black for like, the majority of it since he is one of my favorite villains in super. But with that ending though with GT Goku and Evil Goku pulling off a double KaMeHaMeHa was pulled out of left field so hard that my mouth literally dropped my guy. Also, with that post-credit scene with GT Goku being dragged into another universe and Evil Goku trying to stop him. And that Goku Verses Z teaser was wild!!! Even with Goku Black going to the Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe was creaze too!! You did a good ass job my guy with this video and the story telling. It was amazing!!!
Also, I forgot to add something in when I initially wrote the comment. Personally, I think that Goku Black being pulled back to the future/his universe at the end of the video was a nice touch of consistency for the character and how it was a reference to Dragon Ball Super Broly. With Goku Black being sent back to the place he came from, just like Broly.

Caught up on the series over night. Other than some odd 3D angles in the fight, this was pretty spectacular. Both are pretty interesting villains for the most part so seeing their personalities and strengths clash was epic.

Honestly something that should be noted: Evil Goku totally would have won against Goku Black in base form. With their base energies, he would dominate, as he did at the beginning. But once Goku Black started tapping into Super Saiyan transformations because of Evil Goku, Godly Ki would then pull him ahead at the same transformation level.
Those first person perspective moments are godly. Amazing job.

The only thing I could say I didn't like was that I miss your old aura effects you would use like in Goku Versus onward, although these ones are more anime-accurate. Tiny nitpicking aside, everything else about this sequel was absolutely PERFECT! Great job as always Red, watched GVEG 1 on your original channel like 13 years ago when I was 8. @@theredheadhenry out of curiosity, why are the aura effects different in this animation? Got pretty used to your custom effect, same goes for the Kamehameha effects. I'm assuming these new ones are easier to implement into your unique camera angles and stuff like that?
A combination of wanting to try something different/more anime looking. And also not wanting to do the old fluid energetic old one, but showcase Blacks Rose aura as more fluid and energetic.

I love the idea of two alternate versions of GT Goku fighting and training for 100 years. Resulting to them being so strong that all there normal Super Saiyan transformations are on par with there god equivalent, until you get to God-SS4.
Also it makes me wonder how insanely powerful they would become of they also mastered God-Ki.

Something I’ve always wondered, is the Otherworld in Dragon Ball where every living being in *every* universe goes when they die? Like, if Hit died in his universe, would he go to the same Otherworld that Goku went too when he first died? I really wish they expanded more on Otherworld in Super. As much as I like the other Universes, Otherworld was always an interesting concept to me. It’s literally where Goku first learned how to become Super Saiyan 3, because he didn’t have a limit to his life force/ki, since he was dead. That was why King Kai warned him not to use it against Majin Buu, because it drained the rest of the time he had on Earth. And when he went against Kid Buu, that was why he couldn’t regain his ki, because he was using SSJ3 too much, and it drained his body. Dragon Ball Super is alright, but I wish it would expand more on stuff previously brought up in the story, while also looking at some new things it introduces.
