Soviet cameras are very collectable. I have Zenith E with the 44-2 58mm 2 lens, Zenith C with Industar 50mm f3.5 , Zorki 4k with a black Jupiter 8 50mm f2 lens, Kiev 4a with a silver Jupiter 8 50mm f2, Lubitel 2, Moskva 6x9 rangefinder with a 110mm f4.5 Industar lens, Kiev 6c 6x6 slr with a 90mm 2.8 Vega lens with waistlevel and pentaprim viewfinder. Keep up the good work. I forgot my wonderful Cosmic Symbol zone focus and a sharp 40mm f4 lens. The film counter self zeros too. Great pictures. My favourite is the Zorki 4k. It looks similar to a Leica M2! The Jupiter 8 is as good as the leica lens imo
Zorki 4K is a lever windind version of late simplified (made to be cheap in production) Zorki-4. If You want to see real Zorki-4 - get version with bars on viewfinder/rangefinder windows.
My biggest problem is finding the one I want with camera strap lugs....and in the shape/price I want. Just strange that so many don't have camera strap lugs....I'm finding the same thing trying to get a Fed 3, with camera strap lugs and the Industar model 61 lens (most have the model 26 that's older).
I must admit I've never bothered about the lugs because I rarely use a strap. But yes I can see that would make finding the perfect buy a little tricky. Can you not buy them separately?
If You are searching for Zorki-4 with strap lugs - search for camera made before 1967. About FED-3: it has 2 major version - with knob (first version) and lever (second version) winding. Only knob winding version had strap lugs.
Hi there, I have never got around to making a video on how I did it and I must rectify that soon. It involves stripping the camera down a bit and carefully using lighter fuel to lubricate the mechanism. Perhaps have a Google until I can get he video made.
Only recently I purchased a Zorki 4K with a Jupiter 8 lens - very solid camera and great combination. And incredibly cheap!
Yeah I agree. The Soviets really knew how to make em. I'm glad you're pleased with your purchase.

What a great collection. Have to agree on the Soviet assessment. Not only well made, but they look great. I've some more to feature, coming soon.

10:43 can you maybe explain how you fixed that shutter curtain? Mine is really sticky and doesn't wanna close properly sometimes
