Does anyone kinda feel bad for Katherine I mean that doesn’t excuse what she has done but she was just trying to escape klaus and she lost her family she lost Stefan I mean i know she’s evil but it’s for reasons
Tbh I never saw her as evil at all. The show tried to make her seem sooo evil when she wasn't really. I mean she did what she had to to escape Klaus. She was scared. Everyone would try to escape. You can't blame her for not wanting to be sacrificed by Klaus. And she took the chances to escape without doing it because she wanted them harm but because she didn't want to die. Klaus should be blamed for that. And even later she never did anything truly evil. Especially when you compare it to the other characters in TVD who are supposed to be the heroes. Damon killing human after human when he is in a bad mood. Stefan doing the same during ripper days or when he is protecting Elena. He was there killing the werwolfs and humans (season 3 with Klaus). Of course, you could say it was forced etc but the same went with Katherine her whole life so why is she the evil one and he isn't? Or Elena wanting to kill Kol because of selfish reasons... I could go on and on
