@@Unders I just bought it. Unfortunately before I saw your 10% off comment. What an amazing plugin though. I just put it on a mix, selected my bands and put a tiny bit of compression on each, and it instantly sounded twice as good.
@@fecklessmovies awesome 👏 my advice is always be gentle with multi and on buses. It’s easy to over cook it a think it sounded great but you just made it loud n flat. Happy music making 👏
Waves C4 or C6 super affordable and great options. Izotope neutron 3 has a brilliant option and is generally a wicked mixing plugin. More expensive but good value. Lastly is the very strange but fantastic Fabfilter ProMB
What do you think of Massive X after the update and currently priced at £90, I'm thinking of getting it or paying off the reset of my serum subscription on splice however I'm not a massive fan of how bland serum sounds imo
Great question, Honestly ive not spent any time with massice X since it was such a mess to use it was crashing or freezing. Ive been working hard so time to mess with stuff has been limited. That said if you own Serum an are finding it bland sounding id spend a lot more time with serum. it is one of the absolute best synths out there.
Serum is whatever you want it to be, I would spend more time with sound design and sculpting and I think you'll find that it's the opposite of bland. There is enormous sonic potentially with the ability to add your own wavetables and importing your own samples. There isn't a better sounding software synth on the market imo.
thank you for the tips Unders, much appreciated brother! curious to know if there is any difference between the C4 and C6 besides the additional 2 bands with the C6? To me that's not a selling point because I can use other plug-ins in my chain to handle the extra needed tasks like de-essing.
@@Apollo_Y Your testing me there, The session says "just chat" can only find it on youtube ruclips.net/video/P39468C-2Hs/видео.html Guess he never released it.
@@miguelpessanha Oh right. Never meant to lead to that, hence it doesnt say vs or compared or anything. its literally the same tool with extra bands an sidechain function.
Wow this taught me a lot!
Great to hear 🙌
That ain’t rap, that’s a fashion show
Thanks - really clear explanation and has convinced me to buy this plugin now!
Glad it was helpful. The link in the description takes another 10% off of any deals 👍

hot vocal mix...sounds polished already. finer details yeah.
Thank you. Hope the video was helpful too 🙂
@@Unders yeah, I looking for a multi band compressor, any ideas. Thnaks

How would you compare with the older Linear Phase Multiband compression? Thanks
Different job. The Linear phase multiband is really for very specific situation that require both linear phase and multiband.

C6 add sidechain perband and is double the precision.

does the C4 do not have sidechain?
Nope. Seems crazy doesn’t it.
@@Unders as a matter of fact, yeah🤔
Thanks Udders...Moooooooooo...
🐄
hahaha
So where exactly was C6 mentioned?
What specifically do you want to do differently with C6?
@@Unders I was expecting a comparison with the C6 as it was mentioned in the title
