      I think as a Congolese (who witnessed the agression war opposing Rwandan and Ugandan armies for 6 days in my home-town Kisangani, in DRCongo), I've to raise my voice and say that people just see what Rwanda became or is becoming but they don't even know the real history. Watch these videos below and you will understand why Rwanda became even a PRODUCER of COLTAN which at the genocide time didn't have... Oh! I hope you know what Coltan is useful for. If not, ask Google... and it will tell you the there a a direct link to armed conflicts masterminded by some leaders... who are just greedy and don't care how many people die due to that!

    Paul Kagame is my living hero!He's my inspiration not only because of his great speeches and ideas, but because of his actions!He is a man of actions!I am blessed to have lived in a Rwanda he leads. I was born in Rwanda, lived here before, during and after the genocide against Tutsi, and I know what I am talking about!Kagame made me a believer! He showed every Rwandan that Africans are able!! He stopped the genocide, united Rwandans - genocide survivors and their former killers are now living peacefully in the same villages, He re-built the country from the ashes, He's intolerant to corruption (he has made alot of enemies because of this), he holds the leaders accountable and whenever he sends a cow to the poorest citizen, he makes sure it reaches the right destination the following day. That's why thieves don't like him! I would even die for Kagame's ideology and vision to last in my country for ever. I wish all Africans to have Presidents they like and feel proud of. God bless you my beloved President.

You say he saved Rwanda when in fact he's the very one who ignited the killings by ordering the shooting down of the plane carry the then president of Rwanda. Everyone seems to think this man has done miracles for little Rwanda but look deeper and you'll soon find that apart from the clean streets and some fancy buildings, there's nothing to sing about. Men with guns should never be allowed to rule in Africa

      Alitu Danladi Edmundo Nasigri the only worry when it comes to Paul Kagame is that he is far from what he says, he is a western puppet the worst in the great lakes region. He has upgraded Rwanda's infrastructure on deteiment the Congolese people and subjugation, he has killed opposition in Rwanda, annihilated strong local entrepreneurs simply because they didn't join his mafia party, he has actually created more tribal hatred that many analysts say that Rwanda is ticking time bomb, because of this criminal you're praising. If these words were said by Akufo-Addo of Ghana or Magufuli...i'd believe them but not this angry criminal.

    He is speaking the truth. Africa is a beautiful continent with most natural resources. They have allowed other people from other countries to ravage the cobtinent. There is no reason for Africa as a whole to be in the condition it is in right now. The leaders of Africa must not be apart of corruption when it is destroying your people and the continent. Other countries are getting rich off Africa's natural reaources.

      People want resources because they benefit their own economies, and yes, make them prosper. The people that have the resources benefit their economies because they have something of value to help other places and thus, this exchange helps everyone. The value that causes the resources to even be "resources" is what gives a place something to leverage so they can build, which means value to other places that will arrange a way to stimulate each other's economies and benefit the citizens with jobs, product to rotate money within, etc. If it's the manufacturing and trade deals that need to be cleared up to make it worth some greater benefit, then that makes sense.

    • @darnelljones3765
      @darnelljones3765 7 лет назад

      This speech by President Kagame was nice and pointed toward positive actions, but it was not "brutal" by any stretch of the imagination. Boko Haram is a problem, but it is a small problem compared to the problems caused by the West.
      Mr. Kagame states that it doesn't make sense that Africa cannot solve their problems themselves. Well, he either has to be joking, or the history of the ORIGINS his people's problems has been ERASED! The kidnappings of we Black Americans from you, your resources being stolen, and your intellectual properties being siphoned off are all because of the West.

    I lived in Zambia with family for 10 years. 1985-1995. One of the Greatest African Leader is certainly Dr. K. D. Kaunda of Zambia. Visionary, Multi Talented. Helped literally most of neighbouring countries in their Liberation struggle. Being socialist, most of the Western Countries supported facist dictators in the region but by passed Dr. Kaunda. To me, he deserved Noble Prize. One Zambia One Nation. One Nation One Africa. One Africa One World!

    I love how there's a revolution in African leadership. Ghana's president is front in line spearheading African growth amongst other leaders such as Paul Kagame , John Magufuli. Also, Uhuru Kenyatta has started on a move that I would wish other African countries can embrace. He is campaigning for a borderless Africa. So any African can come to Kenya and will be given a visa upon arrival in the airport. But you must meet some conditions which are friendly

      Yahn Yahudah lol OK.. Here we go lol anyway I respect your view. It your right to identify as what you want so far as you don't involve us and your history.... You can identify as anything... We are cool with that. And also, you cant educate me when you're now trying to discover who you are(dude you don't even know "you" )... So In my eyes, you're not even educated about who you are yet to educate anyone else.. Good luck in your quest

    • @virtuousglean7216
      @virtuousglean7216 7 лет назад +2

      I believe a lot of those negative stereotypes may be more about perception than how much there actually are. The issue is people like the one in your comments who have some denial about being from West African regions and feel ashamed to claim them, and reinvent some carved out fiction history about themselves while calling everyone else eurocentric and arabcentric.. When actually it is them being such. There have been empires in Africa, but this denier in the comments probably doesn't even know that. And even if there isn't as vast amount of written history or civilizational trademarks (like say, Rome inventing roads) that others adopted, it doesn't even matter! Look at Russia, for instance. They have a long history, but weren't actually known for anything.. And they decided that they were going to make their mark and change that. Sure they made some bad choices, but no one is talking about them having a big question mark anymore. Sometimes it's not all about what someone can look back on, but the impetus to say they will create that for people down the line to look back on. To cultivate. Even any place with a civilizational history started somewhere and had scant evidence to look back on. I'm not saying you have scant evidence, I'm simply saying for those of your descent who feel that they do (and must invent fiction), they can push past the mental block and get it out of the way. I get stereotyped all the time for supposedly having a shameful history (even though no one can guess exactly where all I am from unless they ask) and I do not internalize that, though I know many of my complexion do. I say I don't care if someone else is screwed in the head and driven by whatever negativity there is to be against me. I wouldn't care even if I came from a tribe of cannibals (I didn't, just an example), I'd say so what, they must have been pretty fierce, rawr.

      Rosine Nibishika - Talk is cheap. Go to Matongé (Brussels) and talk that Tutsi got power nonsense. Just go there and be as arrogant as you are now. I get tired of the severe delusion displayed by some Africans. When it isn't that Jesus loves us (that's why he didn't lift a finger to end slavery or colonization) it has to be the ethnic superiority complex. A racist American cop would care about you being Tutsi, right ?
