I'm halfway done building the original DL2MAN's project, which is fun but very challenging. All that design piracy drama aside, I'm glad this project is being commercialized in a quite acceptable form. Due to the price point, It will enable literally thousands of hams to try hf! Thank you for the great reviews!

Nice. I am thinking even before it arrives to change the connector also. I did this to the G90 by modifying a BNC connector (can't remember the dimensions but the holes match the SO239 style used in the G90 and this uSDX radio that you showed. I hope ;-) ) Thus I avoid having to machine up a modification plate for it. . . . Most QRP radios use BNC. I haven't figured out why folks think that going over 5W requires using an SO239 ;-) At least we can modify stuff to meet our needs. . . . Again, nice video. Danke!
@@QRP.lifestyle Thanks. I found some BNCs with four holes and a square mount that I modified down to have the same footprint as the SO239. Got a batch and modified them all, so that now I have a BNC on the back of the G90 and a BNC on this Chinese clone. Also working on some mods for the LPF set of this radio. We'll see how that works out ;-) 73 de W8IJN
Very interesting video David. Just a couple of comments. To lower the tax output level, try dropping the TX drive. I'm sure that will help. In the CW setup, there is a call sign. I bet if you change it to your call, and play around it will send an auto CW ID. Loved your workshop 72 ZL1LC

I wonder how many hams are using Web SDRs to extend their listening capabilities, so that they can more-easily hear QRP signals from "distant" locations (where the remote Web SDR is much closer). For the other direction (transmit) they can of course use hundreds of watts. Just curious.
