At 13:09 when you ask if the game is "that" immersive.. You can stand outside a building off to the side and hear him getting lashed. If you count them, they stop at 15.
If u look inside with the new photo mode above the room(theres a tiny window opening) hes actually just standing there. (Dont ask how i figured it out)
As a Witcher 3 veteran I could say that there're three moods to play this game: 1- Story mood 2- Grind mood 3- Gwent After I completed the Witcher 3 twice, I still couldn't get enough of Gwent. It's too addictive!
@slumpywumpy4166 I don’t think all the werewolves do it as bad as that first one. The first time I played the game I raged at that bastard for so long lol Second playthrough I realized I could just run past him into the cave but you have to deal with the fact that Geralt can’t jump in combat for some fucking reason.
@farmpunk_dan No trust me they all do. Theres one during the Crookback Bog questline that I physically could not kill because I had no silver bombs. Was absolutely fuming
@slumpywumpy4166idk if i just got lucky but the werewolf zanny thought in this vid is literally the only one i encountered that ever used its regen before I could kill it
8:07 “hand a Victorian child a coke and they drop dead” Fun fact: a Victorian child would have had plenty of chance to drink a coke, coke was invented in 1886 and the Victorian era ended in 1901. That’s a whole 15 years to try a coke, or 2 average Victorian child lifetimes!
In Polish it's "biedna pierdolona piechota" which is closer to "poor fucked infantry" rather than what the official game says, it just doesn't sound right. It means their casualties are high, but nobody gives a shit about them.
at this point i dont think there is a single person who has played witcher 3 and not started singing the combat music. let the LELELELEELEELEE be with you
@jidhed i think you misread it a bit, he was serious in decision making and thought what he wanted Geralt to do and what he realistically would do, he just showed the funny/interesting parts in the video because that is what content is. Rest assured he is not half-assing it through this very much story driven game
zanny completed all games(far as I know) fromsoft related and the majority of it was goofy. Take note that the dedication he had to suffer for all of those games. Its just his way of making it entertaining rest assured he is committed
"It's just fifteen, you'll live." In before Zanny finds out 3-5 lashes used to kill people, depending on the lash used and what medical aid they were able to give after.
@Newwettyno, it’s simply the fact that cuts caused by lashings can get very deep, up to a half inch, so blood loss and infection likely got them and very well could likely get someone in the modern age
Finally! FI-NAL-LY! 12 playthroughs, >2k hours playtime... This game is my second home. This game is my antidepressant. But please, for the love of Gaunter O'dim, don't mention that TV show xD
@Lenonios Ofcourse! Then I played the whole game in a "What would Geralt do? What would Geralt use? What would Geralt say?" type of way because the books were so inspiring xD
The Law of Surprise is pretty much trusting in the Force for your quest reward. For example: A witcher completes a contract with the Law of Surprise invoked. The client goes home and finds their mare had given birth to a foal (AKA something unexpected). The "Force" has deemed that your reward is a baby horse. I'm sure Zanny's chat explained it to him but you know, doesn't hurt to be sure
I dont comment much on any videos, but i want to give props for editing this at all. A lot of creators just post the streams and there isnt anything wrong with that, its just very indicative of how much you care about this platform
Tip from a guy who has 1000+ hours, don't skip side quest, the amount of good side quest in this game is crazy. Witcher 3 is not meant to be played focused solely on main quest.
I had a couple of friends buggin me about playing this game for YEARS, and when I finally started it up, man I could barely stop play it I was just so in love with it, the lore, the characters EVERYTHING. It was AMAZING.
I honestly loved living like an actual Witcher - putting the main story to one side to track beasts, learn their strengths and weaknesses, take contracts from small villages, and engage the monsters of the wilderness. It's a damn immersive world, and it's done so well.
the ONLY bad thing about the witcher 3 is that it can be a bit janky and some of the cutscenes are awkward at times apart from that it's a masterpiece. the witcher games are just like show except everything is henry cavil levels of perfect unlike the show where henry cavil is the only good thing about it.
Roach is such a pain in the arse to use in Velen. All it takes is a little bit of wood to pop up and he stops completely. Some of the main quests can also be quite contradictory at times too, but it's still great overall.
I could not get used to how the game feels, interesting story but actually getting to see it unfold felt like a chore. maybe I'll give it another shot in 2024 but, in the handful of hours I spent with it I just could not see why people lay so much praise on this game.
@unfortunately_fortunate2000 that’s how I feel too I got as far as Zanny did in this video Maybe I’ll try it out again but change the button inputs around to be more intuitive
@A-KAY-6 I didn't mind the layout too much but the combat and movement felt so floaty and disconnected that I just couldn't be bothered to keep playing, I'll give it another shot eventually as well, maybe playing on PC and getting some mods that rework some mechanics will be better than playing it on PS4.
you CAN parry most things, but it becomes a counter attack instead where Geralt will sidestep and attack at the same time, but you don't get i-frames while counterattacking, so if you get hit it gets interrupted.
2:11 it makes a lot more sense in context. But like.. you know how if youre away from home a long time, sometimes you get home and theres a pleasant surprise for you? Maybe your wife had a child, or your parents got a dog, or someone renovates your house. In the witcher universe, if someone has right of surprise over you, you have to give that cool thing to them. Its sort of like "you dont have anything good enough to pay me right now, but the second you find out you do have something worthwhile you are honor-bound to give it to me"
Zanny the game gets better and better as you play it. Lots to learn and so many different ways to play. Please record the DLC’s for us. You’ll love em the viewers promise
Ah yes the Witcher 3, the game that pioneered massive choice based rpgs, defined how deep and expansive a monster hunting game could be with preperation, game knowledge, and lore info, and spawned the greatest debate known to man "which booba is the right booba for me?".
I love when Zanny tries a new series that I really enjoyed, it's always interesting to see if he likes them as well! Zanny, you should try the darksiders series. One of my favourite franchises of all time!!
This is fantastic. I died when you pulled up the gwent video cause I did the same. After I learned it, I absolutely fell in love with gwent. This is one of the best games ever made, draw it out and please upload full streams no edits!
I love strategy games but I could never get into card games proper... Gwent was the first one I got into and I absolutely love it I somehow figured the stuff through trial and error and error without looking at guides... And it's fun coming up with strategies on my own... Idk if others do this but one of my favourite starts is when I would throw out my strongest card and bait the opponent theirs... Then I'll take it back with decoy and forfeit the round to win the next two
Bro I love how whenever Zanny plays a rpg he’ll be like “aw I just gave that man money!” I’m on my nice playthrough then 5 min later it’s “Chop a head off show them you mean business!”
Just some friendly advice to help you out. The green bar below your health, the one next to the skull, that is your toxicity level, it makes it to where you can't just spam all the OP potions that are in the game. I would also recommend going into settings and switching your casting signs to alternate mode so that way you have a quicker selection of your spells instead of doing one by one. You should also turn on auto apply oils. That will help in fights when you make the oils, oils & potions replenish every time you meditate. If there's one spell I can tell you to favor, it's the shield spell, Quen. The reason why I recommend this spell over the others more frequently is because the more you level up the shield the better becomes, the more hits you'll be able to absorb, you'll be able to hold a shield, you'll be able to heal off the shield from opponents hitting you, you'll be able to push opponents back, and you'll be able to have massive thorn damage with the shield. The shield spell will save your life more than once, trust me. Also, You may want to Play gwent off screen, look up some tutorials on how to be good at it, or something like that. Make sure when you purchase new cards you equip them via the pause menu. The monster deck is the best in my personal opinion. Last thing, Triss is better than Yen
If you dig into the lore of Ronvid of the small marsh, its actually kind of sad. Theory has it that Lady Milberry is actually his daughter. Lost her to illness, and then his wife, so he lost it. Straight up went coo-coo, and came up with this persona to cover his pain.
If this becomes a series, Ill subscribe. Love watching 1st time playthroughs of Witcher 3. You're experiencing one of the greatest open world RPGs of all time
First time you complete the game you do it for the banging story. 2nd time is Deathmarch mode. Its when you become a professional Witcher, using alchemy and the bestiary to its full potential. If youre on Deathmarch, youre most likely gunning for all the trophys/achievements possible in this playthrough, and as such you start to realise that Gwent is the main game and everything else up to this point was the sidestory.
Thank you to Project Orochi for supporting the channel! www.projectorochi.com/zanny #AD
While playing this game be careful, there is things for 18+
@ANS_2009my brother did you watch the video.
You should definitely make this a series.
@104thWolfdiversBattalion there is nudity later that's why I'm saying it
Sorry to say that, BUT GIT GUD! Literally, the sidestep (alt on keyboard) has so much s its hard to die when you are stuck in/against a wall.
Keira Metz: “I’m upstairs. Don’t be shy.”
Zanny: “I will maintain eye contact.”
The chat: “You will try.”
Im your father.
@joimoip187 Are you sure?
Pretty sure@Carpe_diemMMVII
At 13:09 when you ask if the game is "that" immersive.. You can stand outside a building off to the side and hear him getting lashed. If you count them, they stop at 15.
If u look inside with the new photo mode above the room(theres a tiny window opening) hes actually just standing there.
(Dont ask how i figured it out)
@radachadman5998 Did you looked inside using photo mode to see if he is actualy there?
@sharemation5339 yes
Zanny: I have to play in character
Also Zanny: I serve the Nilfgardian Empire
hard to play in character when geralt has like 4 books to read to understand his character
@wobblywack5531 8 actually
@janekfilipowski9119soon to be 9
@CostmioLabos he is on a new one
@CostmioLabos he didn't tell anything about it but it's scheduled for 2024.
Zanny zipping by the hanging corpse to get to the sex scene is peak twitch comedy.
Xx
These longer Zanny vids are possibly the best thing to happen to this channel ngl.
As a Witcher 3 veteran I could say that there're three moods to play this game:
1- Story mood
2- Grind mood
3- Gwent
After I completed the Witcher 3 twice, I still couldn't get enough of Gwent. It's too addictive!
The biggest advantage in playing gwent mode is that you find Ciri in Novigrad (as a card of course but still)
I loved gwent in the W3 but maaannn I did not like the app for it.
Ciri can wait, gotta collect all gwent cards first
I have 400 hours and 100% the game. Facts brotha
bro i suck at gwent i don’t play card games at all cuz i always lose money
I love that even in zannys chat which is 90 percent backseating no one spoiled the suprise of the werewolf healing.
Because all Werewolves do it and it’s such a pain to deal with your first time 😭
Moondust, no more tears
@slumpywumpy4166 I don’t think all the werewolves do it as bad as that first one. The first time I played the game I raged at that bastard for so long lol
Second playthrough I realized I could just run past him into the cave but you have to deal with the fact that Geralt can’t jump in combat for some fucking reason.
@farmpunk_dan No trust me they all do. Theres one during the Crookback Bog questline that I physically could not kill because I had no silver bombs. Was absolutely fuming
@slumpywumpy4166idk if i just got lucky but the werewolf zanny thought in this vid is literally the only one i encountered that ever used its regen before I could kill it
8:07 “hand a Victorian child a coke and they drop dead”
Fun fact: a Victorian child would have had plenty of chance to drink a coke, coke was invented in 1886 and the Victorian era ended in 1901. That’s a whole 15 years to try a coke, or 2 average Victorian child lifetimes!
The recipe was a little… different… back then.
@königreich_dassogne give them coke with the modern recipe and they fall asleep or get bored
@königreich_dassogne they had cocaine in coke back then
"poor fucking infantry", this game's a masterpiece.
its crazy because the "poor fucking infantry" dismantled the mightiest of the nilfgaadian cavalry during the second war, they are actually Him
Hahahaahaa
Ye, thats what happens when you actually use the good lore material
In Polish it's "biedna pierdolona piechota" which is closer to "poor fucked infantry" rather than what the official game says, it just doesn't sound right.
It means their casualties are high, but nobody gives a shit about them.
I always get a chuckle from that.
The blood and wine dlc is so fun. Make sure you play it when your done the full main game.
Best part of the game for me 😢
And after hearts of stone
The entire game is a banger. Main story, side quests, hearts of stone, Blood and wine.
The dlcs are so fucking good man, can't wait to see zanny play all of what the Witcher 3 has to offer
Heart of stone is amazing as well
that's a cannon event, finally, he's doing it
Hey same pfp
What type of cannon is it?
at this point i dont think there is a single person who has played witcher 3 and not started singing the combat music. let the LELELELEELEELEE be with you
I train listening to that music😂😂
i might be that single person. I have the music so low because during conversations its so loud
Dude if he does a series it would be crazy
it will be 🙏
@toozannyHi zanny
Well, guess im following a new RUclips Series.
liaaar!!!!!!!@toozanny
@toozannywait till you meet Syanna 👀
"Opponent passes"
Plays his best cards when all he needed was 1 point.
Top notch Gwent.
Did that the first few times as well
Based Askeladd pfp
@Ghostiekidsrulesame loll
This is gonna be a long great series.
He just seem to turn everything into a goofy joke. Not the kind of game I prefer that approach to, but to each their own
@jidhed i think you misread it a bit, he was serious in decision making and thought what he wanted Geralt to do and what he realistically would do, he just showed the funny/interesting parts in the video because that is what content is. Rest assured he is not half-assing it through this very much story driven game
@jidhedboring af person
zanny completed all games(far as I know) fromsoft related and the majority of it was goofy. Take note that the dedication he had to suffer for all of those games. Its just his way of making it entertaining rest assured he is committed
@jidhed dont watch then. he wont change himself just bc u dont like something. there are a lot of youtubers u can find in the platform.
"It's just fifteen, you'll live."
In before Zanny finds out 3-5 lashes used to kill people, depending on the lash used and what medical aid they were able to give after.
People really had glass-esk type durability back then lmao
@Newwettyno, it’s simply the fact that cuts caused by lashings can get very deep, up to a half inch, so blood loss and infection likely got them and very well could likely get someone in the modern age
Finally! FI-NAL-LY!
12 playthroughs, >2k hours playtime... This game is my second home. This game is my antidepressant.
But please, for the love of Gaunter O'dim, don't mention that TV show xD
fr bro. i myself am gonna cross the 1k hr playtime myself. GOATed game. waited so long for zanny to play this hahaha
For real!
2k playtime? I hope you also read the books with that kind of commitment
@Lenonios Ofcourse! Then I played the whole game in a "What would Geralt do? What would Geralt use? What would Geralt say?" type of way because the books were so inspiring xD
@DoomofOlympusThey are on steam and all the spin offs dont exist anymore(Witcher 2 is on xbox 360 and no other games are on console except witcher 3)
I highly advise that you read the notes and books you find in the game. They elaborate a lot on the lore and story of the worlds. Its amazing!
Zanny did one (1) nice deed at the beginning and decided "that was enough"
The Law of Surprise is pretty much trusting in the Force for your quest reward.
For example: A witcher completes a contract with the Law of Surprise invoked. The client goes home and finds their mare had given birth to a foal (AKA something unexpected).
The "Force" has deemed that your reward is a baby horse.
I'm sure Zanny's chat explained it to him but you know, doesn't hurt to be sure
Just watching zanny making all the wrong decisions throughout his playthrough is keeping me young
I dont comment much on any videos, but i want to give props for editing this at all. A lot of creators just post the streams and there isnt anything wrong with that, its just very indicative of how much you care about this platform
It's more like he cares about us not about the platform he couldn't care less. YT isn't supporting him much but we are.
I love the part where Zanny says:
hmmmmm... It's time for the master flank
Whoever said you can't parry monsters was wrong, the timing is just much tighter than against humans. Drowners are the easiest to learn with imo
51:49 I love that Tanelorr has just become a consistent battle cry for Zanny
13:14 yes, it is that immersive - you can hear him getting lashed behind closed doors in the barracks
TOSS A COIN TO YOUR ZANNY, SO HE CAN FEED HIS PUPPIES!
"Time of madness and disdain, there is a new D2 season coming" this hit my soul so hard I decided to stop grinding D2 and play Witcher
“Guys I have a deep attraction to Ciri, it can’t be just me” so real for that
the ONLY bad thing about the witcher 3 is that it can be a bit janky and some of the cutscenes are awkward at times apart from that it's a masterpiece. the witcher games are just like show except everything is henry cavil levels of perfect unlike the show where henry cavil is the only good thing about it.
I really dislike the combat and the horse controls but these are a non-issue compared to the world and immersion
@unfortunately_fortunate2000 that’s how I feel too
I got as far as Zanny did in this video
Maybe I’ll try it out again but change the button inputs around to be more intuitive
TW3 is still the goat
Remember to allocate your skillpoints from leveling up, there is a skill which allows you to deflect arrows btw:)
Roach can jump by double tapping dismount
Please make this a series, and please do the DLCs. Because of you playing this I might play the game again for like the fourth time 😂
I'm on my fifth playthrough it's worth it like an addict you know you want to
Hearts of Stone was just okay, but Blood & Wine was one of my favourite gaming experiences of all time.
I wonder how zanny will handle the baby in the furnace
I am so fucking hype for this lol, been waiting for you to play Witcher 3 for so long and it's FINALLY HERE
The scary thing about brother zannus is that I can't tell if he likes the...the....weird scenes or if he's just joking.
Now everyone can finally say "How bout a round of gwent?"
As a BIG Witcher fun it hurts listening to half of this. Not the Wild hunt being the Nilfgaard im crying😭😭
you CAN parry most things, but it becomes a counter attack instead where Geralt will sidestep and attack at the same time, but you don't get i-frames while counterattacking, so if you get hit it gets interrupted.
Its sort of like "you dont have anything good enough to pay me right now, but the second you find out you do have something worthwhile you are honor-bound to give it to me"
Me watching every single Zanny video still wondering if he spared or killed Jin’s uncle in Ghost of Tsushima
He is still waiting in Limbo with Bloodborne Laurence, they are forming a Club.
Hahahaha fr man zanny just tell us
He spared him, you can tell because he has a special armor piece that you only get if you spare him
@justlivin2499thank god
@justlivin2499 *gasp*
The “best of chat” video has to come soon. The chat is fucking hilarious.
We have gathered here today to thank the good Zandrel for blessing us close to an hour of goofs.
Literally one of the best games ever made.
Zanny the game gets better and better as you play it. Lots to learn and so many different ways to play. Please record the DLC’s for us. You’ll love em the viewers promise
Keira Metz: "I'm upstairs. Don't be shy."
Geralt: "Gwent, do you play it?"
Everytime zanny starts singing leleleleyleleyleley I laughed so hard
A Jedi never deals in quicksaves..
Pls continue the series this is a game worth finishing
Ah yes the Witcher 3, the game that pioneered massive choice based rpgs, defined how deep and expansive a monster hunting game could be with preperation, game knowledge, and lore info, and spawned the greatest debate known to man "which booba is the right booba for me?".
ZANNY THIS WAS 3 WEEKS AGO WHERES THE NEXT WITCHER EPISODE
42:29
Saying a botching is ugly is like saying sht is not particularly tasty
- lambert
You can parry monsters, but the parry is just a counterattack. Not all of their attacks tho.
I cant believe you left that poor nilfgaardian soldier to die after he save that dude brother.
Watching making all the mistakes I did the first time makes me feel a little better
"This is the greatest game of all time!" Why yes, yes it is my friend
You can parry everything. But you have to time it right. It's less of a parry and more of a dodge with a strike. You do it with the parry button tho.
For me imo best ever RPG game I just love this game
Dammit zanny watching this video makes me want to do another play through! I'm glad your enjoying the game first play through is amazing!
Zandril please don't let this channel die
A legendary game, glad you could finally experience it
0:45 I love Conan O’Brien’s reaction to this scene “this game just outed me!!”
You have no idea how exited I was to see this please do more of these zanny
Finished the game yesterday and i’m back to fully watch this series (I was avoiding spoilers), fucking peak game
I love when Zanny tries a new series that I really enjoyed, it's always interesting to see if he likes them as well!
Zanny, you should try the darksiders series. One of my favourite franchises of all time!!
Blud really called Emhyr "Emir"😭😭😭😭
Also why the fuck does zanny want to join up with the Nilfgaardians?
Temeria forever
This is fantastic. I died when you pulled up the gwent video cause I did the same. After I learned it, I absolutely fell in love with gwent.
This is one of the best games ever made, draw it out and please upload full streams no edits!
Dude same 😂😂😂
I love strategy games but I could never get into card games proper... Gwent was the first one I got into and I absolutely love it
I somehow figured the stuff through trial and error and error without looking at guides... And it's fun coming up with strategies on my own... Idk if others do this but one of my favourite starts is when I would throw out my strongest card and bait the opponent theirs... Then I'll take it back with decoy and forfeit the round to win the next two
Someone has to tell him of the Yennefer cutscene.
Will he have the same reaction as Conan O’ Brien?
after years of waiting zanny finally plays my favourite game ever
In my 400+ hours of TW3 i still refuse to touch Gwent😭
I remember when I faced a werewolf the first time and he started healing. I cried
Bro I love how whenever Zanny plays a rpg he’ll be like “aw I just gave that man money!” I’m on my nice playthrough then 5 min later it’s “Chop a head off show them you mean business!”
Damn just love this game, great to see Zanny play this masterpiece!
5:02 UH-OH!
Yeah man, what’s true love compared to a sexy redhead?
FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME LETS GOOO
That werewolf is legit one of the hardest bosses in the first playthrough
I hated fighting that thing
I gave up in 2015 at that boss.
Another poor soul getting addicted to Gwent haha, looking forward to this series
0:51 will never stop making me laugh lmao glad I was there live to experience it
Zanny there's a nilfgardian armor set that u can buy from the merchent in the baron fort
Love these long videos, always nice to have more to watch.
If you dig into the lore of Ronvid of the small marsh, its actually kind of sad. Theory has it that Lady Milberry is actually his daughter. Lost her to illness, and then his wife, so he lost it. Straight up went coo-coo, and came up with this persona to cover his pain.
I wanted to see this for a long long time and now i'm glad Zanny finally got to play this masterpiece
I NEED MORE WITCHER 3 NAAOOOOOOWWWW
When monster hunter coming back😢😢😢😢
41:23 The baby is vulnerable against essential oils
Interested to see if Zanny stays with the northern realms deck (definitely my favorite of the four) and which Witcher armor set is his favorite.
What do you think of the skellige deck? I find it really unique and fun.
@Safewoood im a nilfgard scrub so i only touched that for quests and nothing else hahah
if he even makes a witcher set, 90% of people i seen play witcher are too inept to do it and wear rags all game
Northern realms is OP
"That's from the show !" Oh, this is going to be great.
If this becomes a series, Ill subscribe. Love watching 1st time playthroughs of Witcher 3. You're experiencing one of the greatest open world RPGs of all time
13:54 Ghost Riders in the sky -- Yes, the johnny cash song.
this game is truly one of the best games ever made. you will love it, can’t wait to see more
First time you complete the game you do it for the banging story.
Zanny there is nilfgaurd armour you find it in a chest in nilfgaurd encampment in the first area
Will you be doing the God of War DLC?
Pls finish the game one of the best games ever
