I always wondered how you spec a car with a company like this and so far it looks fun and stressful because making a final decision can be soooo hard! Thank you for this Manny. This is very cool.
Kind of annoying McLaren haven't fully experimented with achieving their hybrid composites.. saying that they tried "white carbon fiber" doesn't really mean it's impossible to perfect. You need hybrid fabrics and a different mindset when it comes to the top coat finish.. Koenigsegg managed to lighten traditional carbon fiber to a light grey by using diamond dust.. traditionally carbon fiber is a very dark grey and black as the resin coat soaks the fabric to darken it, you only know it as being grey because of good lighting in photos and editing.
it is annoying smh I agree... everytime I buy a new McLaren they always give me that lame excuse and I have to settle with another color. So annoying it ruins my day everytime I look at my McLaren collection. Thank god for Koenigsegg tho... I don't know what I would do without them

From a visual standpoint, the Solus is probably the most stunning cars that you have. The overall look and design of the car is absolutely gorgeous and to sit there and be hands on involved with every aspect of the design must be incredibly gratifying. With all that said can I come along during your next session lol jk Manny well done and congratulations you are truly inspiring and seem like a down to earth nice individual as well.

I think you should definitely do it like your P1 spec. It would look absolutely menacing. And if you want you can throw red accents in it , seeing that you are emphasizing on red more . But doing white just blends in like the show model . But as always if you are planning something it will be good Manny

I really liked their first render like your P1 spec mat black carbon, Manny...just needed some pieces on the exterior white like the MSO and the 91 maybe...some arrow bits and the brakes?

that car is nuts. I love seeing the speccing process, its probably not the final design but i like where its heading. Kind of insane that mclaren is offering such a expensive track car. I would be scared as hell driving such a value on the track.

Manny go crazier on this spec! Everyone always loves a crazy specked car that is this rare. Like do neon pinstriping and as much carbon as possible. I like carbon on the top and painted bottom for the wing

I think more of a full Marlboro livery would be better, this looks halfway, the car in white with the carbon how you have it, but the wheel pods front and rear in red.
The first spec is pristine. The only thing I think would make it pop is to remove the red from the sides on the exposed carbon! Just a thought.

White with the red accents? Simply perfect no question!
i like the white, black and red design. My personal dream spec whould be the same colors but with white as the primary color, black as the secondary and red as the accent/outline color. Ex white with black pinstripe, with red outlines on the pinstripe, black to white fade on the side panels, with a red separating line and 91 in black with a red outline on the spoiler and of course the red accent on the spoiler. Maby even the 91 in gray with the red outline to create som contrast to the wheels and cant forget the red calipers.

What about changing the white color in the spec 1 to silver?
The color scheme looks really similar to the McLaren red/black/silver formula color scheme of the early 2010 (see the MP4-26). The thing with the color white is that dirt, tire residue on the track, oil, etc., will be visible when it gets on the car after a track session. Of course, silver, or gray in this case, would also replace white in the interior. It would pay homage to those 2010´s V10 formula cars both with the engine and the color scheme. Other than that the spec is really beautiful.
Wow! The full carbon looks like a car version of the SR-71 Blackbird!
We normal people will be never able to afford such cars but it would be cool if car manufacturers could let us use these type of configurator online just to dream

I don't think the car will see the track many times, so don't get caught up in the moment and think about the specifics that will make gain value over time
