NOFX - Surfer Medley - Drum Cover

Drum cover of the songs Party Enema, New Happy Birthday Song and Can't get the Stink out by NOFX, from Surfer EP from 2001. My band NO Effects plays this Medley at some shows, but as I wasn't able to mix the 3 original versions the way we played with the proper quality, I simply put the 3 in sequence. This EP has 14 songs and less than 14 minutes, and both the title and the cover are clear references to the album "Suffer" by Bad Religion from 1988. Just like Fuck the Kids EP, Fat Mike wrote all of the songs in a limited amount of time, claiming to have only given himself ten minutes to finish each one, and did not teach the songs to the rest of the band until the day of recording. The EP was recorded in two full-day sessions. All of the songs except Three Shits to the Wind are present on the compilation album "45 or 46 Songs That Weren't Good Enough to Go on Our Other Records" from 2002. Party Enema is the most complete and well-made song of the 3. New Happy Birthday Song is a short song where in the intro they kept the mistakes from the recording as a joke (very typical of the band), and Can't get the Stink out is a song which was played live by the band a lot, even during the Final Tour. Minha banda NO Effects toca esse Medley em alguns shows, mas como eu não consegui mixar as 3 versões originais da forma que tocamos com a devida qualidade, simplesmente botei as 3 em sequencia. Esse EP tem 14 músicas e menos de 14 minutos, e tanto o título quanto a capa são claras referências ao album "Suffer" do Bad Religion de 1988. Assim como no EP Fuck the Kids, Fat Mike escreveu todas as músicas em um tempo limitado, alegando ter se dado apenas dez minutos para terminar cada uma, e não ensinou as músicas para o resto da banda até o dia da gravação. O EP foi gravado em duas sessões de um dia inteiro. Todas as músicas dele exceto Three Shits to the Wind estão presente na coletânia "45 or 46 Songs That Weren't Good Enough to Go on Our Other Records" de 2002. Party Enema é a música mais completa e trabalhada das 3. New Happy Birthday Song é uma música curtinha onde na intro eles mantiveram os erros da gravação de zoeira (bem a cara da banda), e Can't get the Stink out é uma música que foi muito tocada ao vivo pela banda, até mesmo durante a Final Tour.
