Bro justice league heroes is such a underrated and forgotten DC game of all time and I loved playing this game on the ps2 and I even played the gba version of the game that's exclusively about the flash
@JCubby-RUclips the gba version is not necessarily just as good but if you are a fan of the flash and you like classic arcade beatem up type games it's worth trying out for sure I emulated the game on my phone a couple days ago and I still had fun playing the game

You may not have known but besides from the PS2/Xbox version (I don’t believe the GameCube got this game if memory serves), there was a PSP version as well which was nearly identical to the PS2/Xbox version.
The game has a block button and doing combos will make you much more effective. You can also grab most items in the environment and use them as weapons. This game’s story is also an awesome trip through the DC universe.
Sucks that this game is only ever discussed to compare it to it's longer lived rival series. It stands on it's own just fine, the releases line up and has the same genre but builds, combos, story, and team comp are all different.
They should have bit the bullet and made an improved sequel for the next generation. It probably would have won over Ultimate Alliance fans who preferred DC to Marvel.
8:48 Because you only explored a fraction of the combos. In the old days, combos had a lot of variety with button patterns, which to be fair, depending on your age, you might not be used to. I hope you keep going though!
I think the thing I found annoying about this game was that so much of it locked you into specific characters for specific stages. It felt worse when you unlocked characters you could barely use because gosh darn it, you HAVE to be Batman and Superman here. You HAVE to be Flash and Green Lantern there. Your Aquaman and Green Arrow are just gonna sit and gather dust for most of the game. That and too many of the unlockable characters were just… exactly the same as your core heroes.

The GBA version, by developer Wayforward (Ducktales Remastered, Contra 4) is an "inbetween'quel" where you play with Flash during the events of the console game where he isn't playable. The PSP versiom is exactly like the console version, but it has the biggest playble roster of characters as they included Black Canary & Supergirl to use.
I'm pretty sure I bought this game from a yard sale and played it on my Xbox 360 because it was backwards compatible I actually enjoyed the game a lot to be honest I remember using cheat codes to unlock skins and it was my introduction to a lot of DC content

I do prefer Justice League Heroes as it has more replay value thanks to the continued play option, which allows you to continue using your leveled up heroes instead of starting from scratch. My favorite blue and gray Batman outfit is unlockable. Plus, Huntress and Hawkgirl are unlockable characters and then there's Zatanna 😍😍😍🥵🔥

Yo being real X-Men Legends 1 and 2 both came before Ultimate Alliance and Justice League Heroes. So Justice League copied X-Men. X-Men Legends is basically Ultimate Alliance's Prequel

This game is... definitely worse than Ultimate Alliance in a lot of ways, like only supporting two players, locking you to specific characters, and having atrocious menu design, but for some reason the combat feels like it has a lot more weight to it, like I'm actually punching someone, something Ultimate Alliance failed at IMO.
