Thank you very much for uploading. Now I can listen to this beloved book in Capote’s own sweet rendition (over and over again!).
I could listen to him all day! thanks for the upload!
After watching many interviews of him, I adore Truman's personality so much. He was so unrelentingly nice, and with such a colorful, spirited personality. Thank you very much to the uploader for posting this wonderful reading.
I learned about in the Movie in his name I born in 1958 Capote name was around but I was too young to pay attention to In the movie Capote reads a part of his book " In cold blood" and I had no idea he was so such a good writer, Breakfast at Tiffany's was one of my favorite movies, and until now as I stumbled upon this site today found that he had written the book. I too think he is a genius. I like to hear him read "In Cold Blood" on audiobook .
That's a fantastic photo of Capote. The man was a genius. So sad this video only has round about 5k views. It should have millions!
I adore Capote!! I love this recording it is wonderful to hear him reading his works. Thank you very much for uploading this lovely video

Wonderful reading. So good to hear his voice.
great reader
saw him stoned out of his mind with Rex Reed at a Cockettes show. The following day he was on stage for the SF Film Festival and, fortunately, sober and funny.
How could anyone not Luv Truman Capote? I wish those 8 thumbs down had left a comment.
Perfection......
Great! 😊
What accent is that? I knew he grew up in Alabama and spent some time in New York...
Well he was mostly raised in Louisiana, but it's the typical gay accent where I live. I've had several friends that talked just like this.
pure swish. we can't proudly claim f word here. wish more men- and women- had the balls to speak so sweet
This was interrupted by an advertisement every 90 seconds, so it was pretty hard to get into the story.
Uugghhh such a shame this reading is being interrupted by so many adverts! Grrrrrrr!😒😕

Does anyone know if this is the whole book of Breakfast at Tiffany’s or an abridged version?
It's only a scene. So it's not the whole story.
