Mandarine Basilic (along with OJ Osmathsis) has been my go to summertime pick-me-up since it came out. Simple, but still beautiful. It’s like the fragrance equivalent of a shot of espresso. Added Nerolia Vetiver this year and oh it is lovely! Such a smooth cozy neroli and vetiver but still refreshing. I love combining the two as well. I’ve had my eye on the Forte since it was announced and I think I need to just go ahead and buy it. I already love the original and you mentioned it could work in the winter. That may have just sold me. I need to pick up another bottle of Nahema anyways and it needs a travel companion 😄
Bummer about the coconut fizz one. They discontinue fragrances before I even got a chance to try it. I love orange scented perfumes, I will try to get my hands on the mandarin basil one. Thanks always for great reviews! :)
The first Aqua Allegoria I ever smell was Mandarine Basilic and since then I've been lost in love. So so sad they don't come to my country... They are the perfect match with the weather I live in... Thank you beautifull...!!
I have Coconut Fizz and it's probably the best coconut perfume I've ever smelled. Sad it's being discontinued!

I’m trying a sample of the Mandarin Basilic original EDT today. Love it. I can’t find anywhere online that has a sample of the Forte. I never blind buy, but I’m tempted to get it.

Maybe a weird request, but people might be into it. Could you do a video about scents that are good to wear when eating? I find certain fragrances that I love are off-putting when I have a meal, while others compliment food perfectly. Ie Ellis B’s Bee is so yummy to wear on a dinner date. Thanks!

I layer the Mandarine Basilic and Nerolia Vetiver and they are absolutely beautiful together. A refreshing bite from the MB and the smoothness from the NV is just *chefs kiss*

The colored box tops are NEW. The gold labels were used on some older packaging. I have a fee old bottles wirh gold labels…
Still sad that Passiflora is discontinued. I hope that at least they will forever keep Herba Fresca.

Whats the longevity like of the mandarine forte ?

How does the new Mandarin Basilic Forte perform compared to the original edt in regards to longevity and what is the projection like compared to the edt? Does it do well in the high summer heat like does the MB edt or is it more of a year around fragrance that might be too much for the summer high heat? Do you think it would be redundant to own the new MB Forte if you already own the MB edt?
Sorry for all the questions, I already own the edt and don’t want to make a redundant purchase and it’s hard to get a sample!

It definitely performs better. It’s warmer than the edt but I think it’s still ok for summer.

They’re quite different. Bronze goddess is warmer and more tropical floral.
