I was watching this again and realized that since Snow was holding Charming's heart when she told him to remove the authors head he had to because he was being controlled. So how was Charming able to stop the downward stroke and not behead the author? He shouldn't have been able to because he has no free will.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but after watching this episode, I decided they messed up the casting. Ginnifer Goodwin played this role to perfection. She didn't overplay it. And I like Lara better as Regina than the Evil Queen. Their roles should have been switched, I would have loved to have seen that.
I'm sorry, but this Evil Snow just isn't cutting it for me. Like, there legit isn't much fear or chills. I love the actress and all but, best she stick to playing the hero because as a villian she was awful. Yes, the twist is a sight to see but still, Regina/Lana play evil FAR better.

I laughed so much when i saw evil snow 😂😂 and not in a mean way... It's just that Ginnifers face is not built for evil queen. She's too cute for that 😅 round face, those eyes and her ears sticking out from the short hair ... Nahhhh too cute 😂😂

It's the soft speaking that makes it terrifying because it's subtle unlike Regina with an obvious temper to her reign

Yes, but don't forget what Isaac said caused Snow to have second throughts about kill him. I think that was caused Charming to stop.
