How on earth did he get the tests so quickly when the average wait is months for both 2 and 3 ?

Watched some of that other 1 hour video and he got lucky with cancellations and travelled miles for the tests, why the AAT couldn't tell u that I don't know.
I personally was checking for cancellations every day at every test centre to the point I was getting blocked from the website for 2 hours or 4 hours, I can't remember how long now, after 3 months of trying multiple times a day and never seeing a single cancellation I got my part 2 test email through any way which is in August.

Hi @@ShaunY1988 . It's an etiquette amongst on-line creators that when you share each others content, you do what you can to drive viewers to that channel as well as providing value to your viewers. I only do that with channels I genuinely believe in and I know will add value to PDIs and ADIs.
Glad you've managed to get a Part 2 test booked, and I know it can be a really frustrating process. Hopefully you'll pass first time. If you do, I suggest using the 'book to hold' service the DVSA offer asap if you can't find any Part 3 test dates available for your local test centre.

I passed my part one in march, my part 2 is in august, 5 month wait . . .

Hi @ShaunY1988. Yep, unfortunately that's very, very common. So, suggest using that wait time to not only develop your driving skills to hopefully Part 2 on the first attempt, but also start studying and preparing for your Part 3 as well.

@@aatadvancedaditraining2535 thanks for the reply, I have started my part 3 training and all my spare time is completely dedicated to learning towards this career, whether it be watching videos, reading the recommended books, driving around practicing etc, thanks again.

Hi @@ShaunY1988 . That's great to hear and will really help you - so keep that effort going. Probably feels it's taking forever, but I'm sure you'll get there and it will be worth it in the long run.

I've done my part 1 and have paid for the part 2 already and they hopefully will get back to me with a date for the test.
I've looked on the gov site but can't see any option for finding cancellations. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi @williamlarkin613. The only way to find cancellations or new test dates being released is to keep checking back on their booking page. Alternatively, if you haven't already, contact them on 0300 200 1122 and request a 'book to hold' test for your preferred Part 2 test centre. Have your PRN ready as they'll need that. All best and hope you don't have to wait too long. 🙏
