100%! Most times we find ourselves in our mess due to our own poor choices. Yes others may have done wrong but most times it is us who opened the door due to poor discernment and not seeking God before getting into close relationship/friendship

Woahhh 😮hearing this just reminded of the anxiety and anxiousness that I still harbor in my heart for forgiving the unforgivable! 😢 I know God has a purpose for my life and I need to allow Him to heal me from the guilt, hurt, and pain caused by someone else!

This is so good. The Lord has led me to do the things you mentioned...and truthfully I'm worried about their eternal destination. This wounding and trauma has existed long term, eventually coming to a climax, and now this individual has rallied people against me, speaking untruths. I need to stay in contact to help this person, but there is terrible PTSD. I constantly have to fight the battle in my mind, not to remember. I always say, "God...give me holy amnesia", (just being figurative). But what do you do when their physical presence brings such strong anxiety. I don't have the option to "disappear." Remembering the pain and offense is right there in front of me, in physical form. Is it a sin to feel this way or to try to limit contact? I would come home after a visit and it would take a long time to recover. I suppose this is the kind of thing that requires a miracle...a "Holy Spirit please take over" moment..

I'd definitely limit contact as much as possible and pray to see them as God does: as His creations who are unfortunately lost in their sin. When I began to see those who betrayed me in this light, it allowed me to feel pity for them. Imagine how unloved and miserable someone must be to treat others so poorly. Broken people, break people. You've spent enough time in the pain, I pray God wipe your tears and grant you peace. Give yourself permission to let go of the obligation to minister to them. It's okay to emotionally detach and pray for God to bring someone else into their life who can help them see the truth. Sometimes loving people from a distance is the best we can do in a toxic situation. Praying for you, sis 🙏

@@VerafiedByGodthank you so much, I am dealing with the biggest betrayal from a family member because I stopped dealing with her to become close to Christ. I noticed she’s buying people for acceptance and will turn on people very easy to be accepted. I tried to retaliate in the beginning then I pulled back from everyone. For the last 3 weeks this situation has been eating me up at the age of 66 years old I don’t need to stress of unforgiving. I will pray for her and other family members. Please pray for me as I pray for them.

@@darleneullah8201 I'm so sorry to hear that. I am praying for the healing of your heart. In my opinion, forgiving a remorseless person is one of the most difficult things you can ever do. Especially when they've hurt you so deeply. BUT with Jesus you can forgive and be healed. Know that brighter days are ahead of you and what they did not and cannot stop your purpose.
      Stay blessed my friend ♥
