0:30 That may be some other Qilin than Ganyu as this was about 3700 years ago.
But at 1:07, it is 2000 years ago, we again see the same Qilin- we know Ganyu fought in the archon war 2000 years ago.
There is also an assumption that Ganyu can do that transformation- but she is only half-Qilin, so maybe she cannot.
But if we look at Ganyu's namecard, it has the Qilin in it. So... maybe she can take that form?
I thought it's ganyu's mom but well, the qilin can be anyone else indeed

I noticed that too... But still can't believe he was a god cause just a day before the event i saw a meme which said he is strong as **** like the one in doge meme and I laughed and still laughing over the fact that he's the stove god🤣🤣
I think he was crying because he was happy to see Xiao and sad to see him leave.
So it's unrelated to the video, but this cutscene might actually foreshadow of what happened to paimon. Guoba shrunk because he gave up his power to save the land he also lost his ability to speak making him just like an ordinary creature.
Similar thing might happened to paimon in the past. After sacrifice her power she lost her memories and shrunk. She might actually the one who created the false sky to protect teyvat from "something" dangerous. It's possible since if you think about it paimon is the only character that we know nothing about.

Crackhead theory: I noticed that the statue of the Omnipresent God in Inazuma somewhat resembles Paimon. It could have been her original form before she shrunk down, or another deity related to her.

For an event about cooking, it was surprisingly emotional.
It's one of the best event stories they ever did.. I'd put it only behind Fischl event, and Albedo event

best event questline by far, the only questline that revealed as much lore as this was the 1.1 meteor event thing, no other event gave nearly as much lore.

True, I honestly love these events because they give so much info to add into the lores. it's getting more interesting.
After all the action in Inazuma, chilling with team Liyue and the adepti is just flippin awesome. Meeting everyone, MVP Madam Ping giving us a lore run down on what the Moonchase festival is all about really is/was a fun and exciting experience. Meeting Zhongli at the end of Act 2 of the event was like the icing on the cake, after he mentions "we meet again, old friend" to Guoba, and seeing him talk to Madam ping was just a 10/10 moment.

Ikr? Zhongli coming at the end was such an amazing thing!
I nearly cried when Zhongli and Guoba meet since the first dialogue was just dots. I thought Zhongli won't recognize just like how Xiao didn't and see Guoba cry again. But then Zhongli recognizes him and then had a reunion along with madame ping. Great event
@@Railgun003 I was bugging me why I felt so happy when I saw Madam Ping talking to Zhong Li, then I realized they hadn't met for who knows how long. When we entered Madam Pings teapot for Chapter 1: Act 2 of the "Farewell, Archaic Lord", Zhong Li hadn't managed to find time to talk to Madam Ping yet. I didn't cry, but the fact that the moment felt so wholesome I just couldn't keep smiling from ear to ear, also add on the fact Guoba was Zhong Li's dear friend as well. THIS EVENT STORY QUEST IS TOO FLIPPIN AMAZING! I hope in the future they start archiving this event story quest, so we'll be able to enjoy reminiscing through when interested ^_^

I love this quest so much. And young Madame ping is truly lovely. We learned a lot. And aww Lumine clapping is too cute. And omg baby Xinyan, Xiangling, Hu Tao, Chongyun and Xingqiu...my heart....But really this quest is really good. I’m happy with it.

This Story Quest should be a permanent quest in the game, so everyone can experience it. It should be treated as Archon Quest Liyue Act V. I hope they do the same to Inazuma and made a quest just as good as this one.
I wish they did the same thing with 1.6
I missed the lantern rite one so yeah......after i experienced how fun the story for this moonlight quest, I kinda wanted to know the lore on the Lantern rite ones
Shame that it would be unlikely considering what happened with the 1.6 Golden Apple Archipelago yeah. A story quest on a similar level where the arc centered around Klee with a decent showing from the Mondstadt gang (whereas this centered on Xiangling/Keqing with appearances from the Liyue crew). Then all of that just gone by the next patch.
Well, it was already in the writing starting from the Unreconciled Stars event in 1.1 which had some story bits for Fischl & Mona so....

Is it just me or do you guys also want to see this Liyue's Era? I mean seeing the Morax and the Adeptis around Liyue is awesome. It almost feels like that you're safe when these creatures are around you. Especially when we have that big phrogg, Azdaha.
It's also a lot more dangerous for the same reason. Remember, this is around the same time Andrius the God of Blizzards (maybe), was fighting Decarabian the God of Storms, plunging the entirety of the land of Mondstadt into a snowstorm that makes it uninhabitable.
@@lqp79a Decarabian was the most misunderstood one of them. Poor guy just wanted their citizen to be safe from the cold and the wolf.
4:00 She is indeed Yunjin. From the leaks, you can see that she is a geo polearm user. But I also heard that they changed her vision, so it might be anemo or dendro now (because in the photo, her vision has a turquoise or kinda green light).
Edit: It's confirmed that she is a geo polearm character. She is a 4 star and probably will be in the same banner as Shenhe.

Fun fact: The "unknown person in the back" is in fact named Yunjin, she's a singer like Xinyan, but they have different styles of music i think. She might be a dancer as well.
Also when I saw Madam Ping's supposed younger form in the moonchase trailer, I thought it would be an upcoming character or something!

I’m in love with this quest. I think it got overshadowed by the anniversary and mihoyo silencing craze but this was really well done. It didn’t feel like a chore, I even liked doing the chest and moon charm collection. And this cutscene was so beautiful to look at.

Either way its a good thing even if the character they are saving for doesn't show up,they might eventually like future characters and they could easily pull it with their saved primos so its a win win.

I think she might be an important role in archon quest, but we don't know her own lore though, rather than she changes Zhongli's life, being a good friend to the other Adepti and she's a smartass women, there are so much theories about her, but the most convenient one is the memory of dust, that dumbbell is the mark of their friendship between guizhong and zhongli, she might be still roaming around in teyvat as a spirit maybe because Zhongli does not follow her last words and still trying to solve her dumbbell, and her dumbbell might be the one who influence him creating a replica of his own version of the dumbbell like his meteor for example, whether she is playable, her element might be geo because she's a good architecture XD

I feel like Mihoyo stepped up their game from the last archon quest, which in my opinion was pretty anticlimactic. But, seeing the story quest of this, I felt reassured that the stories will really get better. This is my opinion anyways

I feel the same way! This event reassured me that the writers at Genshin are still capable of writing a good story.
They are working side by side with the ones that made and are working on the story of honkai so that is to be expected but we must be realistic and realize that there will always be ups and downs.

Imo, genshin history stories is all good. The past lore of Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma is totally great that we can dive down to know more. Signora's past, Archon War, and Cataclysm are just a few great example which is undoubtly interesting. Sadly, we can only browse them through books, artifact lores, hidden quest, etc.
Don't attack me but I am honestly unsatisfied of Ei's story quest. I though we could know more of her past along with Inazuma's history like what we saw on her character teaser. I wish she have part 2 of her story quest
Fun fact! Marchosius is one of the 72 demons in the Lesser Key of Solomon. Just like Barabtos, Morax, Bael, Decarabia, Andras, Orobas, and Paimon!

Since we already knew that gouba lived for a couple millennia, i was expecting a reaction from him when xiao arrived. And gouba did, he was pretty suprised and happy too.

So much lore hidden in that cutscene. To me, Liyue has been the stand out area, in terms of characters, story quests, and now events too. Inazuma felt a bit rushed with a kinda short archon quest, so this was a nice return to form.
Makes sence . Liyue is based on China as far as I know . Chinese company investing more in "their" region makes total sense (as compared to Mondstadt aka the west and Inazuma aka Japan - not exactly places that are loved in China )

It feels rushed because back in the day, when we still AR 25 or around. We have to leveled up our AR so we can play the archon quest. Meanwhile now? We probably are around AR 55+. So we don't have to leveled up our AR to play the archon quest.

I really loved the Moonchase quest so much. The whole quest was really wholesome and it was so mesmerizing to watch all my favourite characters making an appearance. Was truly awesome 😍😍

Adepti is already a plural form, adeptus is the single form. Just like cactus (single form) and cacti (plural form)
"Madame Ping" character can be related to Guhua Clan somehow, as she's wearing VERY similar clothes to Xingqiu. On wiki it says: " the Guhua Brotherhood, was established by someone close to Guhua to honor him" and Guhua is believed to be an adeptus. Maybe she was his friend and established the clan?
Most likely and Guhua martial arts doesn’t only teach the way of the sword but also the way of the polearm

I thought Madame Ping's outfit bore far more resemblance to Xiangling's attire. Both have looping braids, a petite top, same style of boots, and both have a bell hanging from their waist.

That girl is Yunjin. Yaoyao is another chibi and she was officially revealed a long time ago in an official art from miHoYo.
This is the best cutscene ever. Had me in tears watching the past and the present come together like this :’) the underlying sad tones of the sacrifice, the hope of the future… love this moonchase quest so much.

If you look carefully, the girl got green eyes, madame ping doesn't.

And cleansing bell is already a clear give away, only zhongli and her ever have that bell, and if you notice all the adeptus that appear are the one we already met and know so an adeptus that we already met and have the cleansing bell -> madame Ping. And who said madame Ping can't be a playable character in the future
@@dafimuzw no, madame Ping said it was not her cause it belong Zhongli in the first place, he was the original owner of the bell. Zhongli said in the past there was always a young girl who always look at the bell for a long time so he finally gave it to her with a deal if anyone would ever come to get it she will hand it over. And madame Ping also said she has always wanted the bell since she was young and manage to receive it from Zhongli. Eventhough both Zhongli and madame Ping did not mention any name, it very clear they are talking about each other.
When we get the bell from madame Ping, the bell was kinda collecting dust in her teapot showing that she has been keeping it for a really long time already. That is why madame Ping was the only keeper of the bell since the start so there is no first or second keeper.
And if you think she is weak from her current old form so it doesn't make sense for her to being the bell keeper then i have to give you hint that madame Ping might be one of the more aggressive adeptus we met so far as her buff (when we are fighting Osial) is the only offensive buff

@@LS-qs9ju ofc i know that but we talking in lore stuff not in game, Ganyu is shown to be pacifist most of the time, that why her buff is healing. Madame Ping until now is friendly kind, unlike the other adeptus, but madame Ping is still the only one that give atk buff which hint she might be more aggressive than we think. Zhongli wouldn't let her the bell for no reason after all
Yeeess ever since this trailer was leaked I have always wanted for that Ganyu Polearm Adepti to be Madame Ping, hopefully in the future we get to see and have all of Adepti's Mortal Forms, and even Monstadt's Four Winds too, and good to see that Pervases was not forgotten, I'm also quite curious about the past dead Yakshas, Guizhong and Havria too, a lot of characters is on Mihoyos hands right now huh...
I really hope to see Cloud Retainer's human form sometime

Some thoughts as a Chinese player:
The transition of the final panels (in which Madame Ping and Yunjin made their appearance) was from:
1. Gods (ZL and his adepti), who represented creation of Liyue
2. half-adepti (Ganyu & Yanfei), who represented history (the adepti left the mortal world to live in seclusion, the half-adepti lived with the humans and witnessed much of Liyue's history)
3. first true human leader (Ningguang), who represented the transition of Liyue into a nation ruled by mortals, marking the first step of Liyue in a completely new and unpredictable age
4. and finally the younger generation (Keqing & Xiangling & MC), who represents the force that will keep Liyue going forward and thrive in the future.
I gotta say MHY really knows what ticks the heartstring of Chinese players. This whole history, succession, remembrance of the sacrifices of our forefathers (which, curiously, shares the same pronunciation as "adeptus" in Chinese, i.e. 先人仙人) and striving for a better future theme is basically how we view our own history and culture.
i realized qiqi has seen all the liyue people that we know of, grow, and Qiqi was wishing to be one of them…
Moonchase Festival is really a great experience!
Also I got a detail about the sign that on Guoba's back, it looks like a element symbol combine with "fire(火)" and "geo(土)", which means the "stove(灶)"
Considering we're seeing all these past characters right now, it's safe to assume that Genshin Impact's second chapter will be a prequel, or some time stuff or whatever.

00:29 we can't say for sure this is ganyu. Ganyu is half human-half qilin, as we know from her story quest. This maybe qilin the adepti, either the ganyu's father or mother.
02:55 as long as i know, this is dragon-qilin form of morax. Exuvia is the term to refer morax's dead body.
03:50 we can't speaks for sure, but from the leaks till now, this is likely yunjin, a singer at heyu teahouse. And we already has the leak of yaoyao design.

So YaoYao is a Dendro character with the same height as Klee, Diona, Qiqi and Sayu. There are some offcial artwork featuring her and Qiqi

At 2:50 The lady you say is madam ping could very well be a guhua disciple based off there clothing and their weapon as we know guhua focuses the are of sword and spear. She's also in a similar pose to xingqiu
i like how this channel isn't jumping to conclusion that it's yunjin. it tries to verify with in-game sources and breadcrumbs that we most likely missed, even though there are leaks everywhere and people who watched leaks or enthusiasts within the community most likely already knew that it's yunjin.
Though, YaoYao has already appeared in one of the official arts iirc, so it wouldn't really be leaking

one of the thing i wrote on survey after the windblume event is more events like windblume and golden apple island where we can interact with all the characters, I'm so happy yet a bit emotional doing this quest especially when knowing Guoba past story with how he love people so much and his relationshipship with Zhongli and all the Adepti and also the way he ran happily to Zhongli without having no memories of him really melt my heart.❤️

Yunjin is a popular dancer, brewer, scripwriter, opera singer and actress at Heyu Teahouse.
Yaoyao is a chef and is currently working as a assistent to Ganyu. She often has to make sure Ganyu is well treated, and once the staff at Wangshu Inn even asked: "are you sure it is Ganyu who is taking care of you, and not the other way around?", when she asked for confortable accomodations for Ganyu after a day of work.

I assume someone said this before already but yunjin was one of the characters we saw the early design of- like ayaka thoma and yae she will probably be the last liyue character to be released with yaoyao I think

Guoba has a symble of Geo Pyro combined on his back, in Chinese, you can write Geo as 土 and pyro as 火，you combine them together you get 灶, stove in Chinese

That isn't leaked, but we only know that girl is Yaoyao because her model was datamined. mihoyo never directly said the girl in that photo was Yaoyao.

There’s still a chance she’ll be playable, Signora was never meant to be playable (her model was always referred to as a boss) but Yelan (I think dataminers said that’s her name) still has a chance
That's definitely Madaam Ping since she taught xiangling the art of the polearm, and how the bell in her side really resembles the cleansing bell if you look at it close enough.

The long dark haired girl is Yunjin! Yaoyao is a short character like Qiqi with brown hair and wears green. She's also dendro!
I loved this event so much, there was such a warm feeling to seeing everyone in this one little cutscene.
Can't believe Guoba was a god and he's been used as a weapon by xiangling in her game play.
Plus child versions of liyue characters is so cute.
Also Madam Ping looking like a 5 star in her younger days.
Seeing Ganyu in her adepti form and what looks like madam ping in her young age it's really amazing.
I think it's not Ganyu because she is half-Qilin so likely she has only one form

I really thought we would get to see Yunjin because she was on this cutscene. But at the end we didn't. I would prefer Baizhu was there because at least we know him and is on the game, just not playable
Fun fact about the unknown character at 3:35 , she's one of the last two characters from that "leaked characters" that got datamined about a year ago. So far that image has been immensely accurate. Hu Tao, Sayu, Kazuha, and Rosaria were all on that image way before they were ever mentioned in game, a character named Mimi from the image got redesigned to Kokomi, and so far two characters on that image have received official art, one being Yaoyao who got an official art featuring Qiqi and Paimon a couple months ago and the other being Yunjin who just now got something in the form of this clip.
On a final note, Shenhe/Shen He/Shenli is the other one of the last two characters (now literally *the last* ) who as of yet has NOTHING on her. Given that the datamine wrote her off as a Cryo Claymore user, it could be possible she got redesigned into Eula but really the only two things they had in common is being Cryo Claymore users and having white hair
