Definitely do what makes you happy, Im going into my 3rd year of a business degree because my parents forced it on me and im so unhappy and it isnt at all what I wanted to do.
Go after what you like. My parents forced me to choose computer science over art in university and now I feel like I lost time doing what I was never interested in. And now my parents are denying that they forced me in the first place. I'm trying to go after my dreams now though. 😊

I took interior design in high school for an elective and I did like it! I enjoyed learning about different room sizes, buildings and different lights and furniture. I’m in my first year of interior architecture and design at Nottingham Trent university in England, and the course is really good! It’s intense but it’s so interesting. The major problem is or I can say the barrier to such professional courses is financial condition...soo are there any scholarship opportunities....or any other way ..where we can reduce the finance required..to get educated abroad...

if it helps anyone a little more, i have applied to the university of florida and they have a huge program of about 1,500 students and the application process was pretty simple. they are do have accreditation from cida and are top ranking for the interior design program. this school is really competitive so i suggest keeping grades the highest possible and taking rigorous courses

i recently started college at vcad calgary for interior design and yes its hella alot of work its never ending but its fun and if you have the passion for it then its for you totally agree and i love it even when im sleepless lol and i have a little one so its so much harder but i know ill get through all for my passion and making my dreams come true !!:)

Do you recommend any online school for Interior decorating/design?? I want to make sure I'm taking the right path and not waisting my time. I want to eventually have my own business. (Decorating all the way to tile & finishings of the house).
I understand it's probably best to go to a CIDA school, however I'm working full-time and value the flexibility and lower cost of an online school. I also have a bachelors of Fine Arts already and have spent thousands already on that. In my case do I absolutely have to go to a university? Or take a 2 to 3 year program?
