This video shows the theory, pool and open water training part of the PADI Snorkel Guide course. The full course goes through the following elements:
1. PADI Snorkel Guide classroom theory sessions for snorkel dive planning, risk management, safe snorkelling practices, presentation workshops
2. Pool training for personal snorkelling skills development, safety and rescue practice
3. Open water training for site assessment, guide briefings, and simulated guiding
The separate Snorkel Guide certifications available are:
- PADI Snorkel Guide delivered under PADI RTO which results in qualifications including SISOSNK002 Lead snorkelling activities
- PADI Snorkel Guide delivered under PADI Asia Pacific which results in the ability to apply for a limited PADI Membership application
