- I returned to Malmö, Sweden, for one of the most crucial matches of the season: Malmö FF, sitting at the top of the league table, faced off against Djurgården IF from Stockholm, who were just six points behind in second place. @@Reeplay7 We see, Djurgården still is a menace. Mjällby is still not a team with the money or the ability to suck out players from such a big region. But I remember we hadi ssues with them before also, In 2010 I think. But won against em in the last match to secure the gold.
Underperform? Or Djurgården is the team that have played really well previous years against you. Motivation can mean a lot. Congrats on the 3 wins this year tho 100% well deserved except maybe for the cupfinal where Djurgarden was the better team for long periods of time, Malmö barely touched the ball first 20-25 in the cupfinal then it evened out after that and in second half malmö was the better team and in overtime it was all Djurgården again. Also Djurgården should have had a penalty in original time in the cupfinal, in the end Malmö won in penalties in a very tight game that Djurgården was the little better team in and the penalty in original time was annoying bc it was so clear to see that it was a penalty and goal there and a lead for Djurgården it could have not gone to overtime and penalties at all. 3 games Malmö won all and 2 were great wins but the cupfinal Djurgården deserved more.
