  • Discover how art can be made anywhere-even inside an old mosquito coil cardboard box! In this video, I take on the challenge of turning this unexpected surface into a vibrant watercolor sketch. Using delicate washes and intricate details, I explore how colors interact on this recycled material, proving that creativity knows no bounds. Whether you’re an art lover, a watercolor enthusiast, or someone looking for ways to upcycle everyday items into works of art, this video is sure to inspire you. In this video, I take you through my artistic journey of sketching a beautiful Hindu temple in India, surrounded by lush trees, using an unconventional canvas-the inside of a mosquito repellent coil cardboard box! The creative process started with carefully cutting and preparing the box using a paper cutter, transforming it into a unique surface for my artwork.
I began the sketch with a 5B graphite pencil, capturing the temple’s architecture and the natural surroundings with bold, expressive lines. Once the pencil sketch was complete, I moved on to large watercolor washes, laying down vibrant, fluid colors to establish the base and bring energy to the scene. As the washes dried, I gradually added detailed layers, enhancing the temple's intricate features and the delicate foliage of the trees.
