Astra gives you so much control. Even after the nerf she is just so fun to play. You feel like you can control the timings on every move the enemy and your allies are doing.

I've never seen a clean Astra gameplay before, for me she is impossible to play, respect for all Astra mains out there
If you play astra, you are like playing Valorant on hard mode.
9:26 i don’t know how to explain it, but i feel the same way. i think it might be because of the clear distinction between abilities and gunplay. you can focus purely on utility in astral from and then use muscle memory/passive skill in the rest of your gameplay. i know you need awareness too, but that goes for most other agents as well. astra just has a line between the shooting and abilities, which makes it easier to think clearly imo.
I see this in val a lot, where players reload a full clip only to pick up the same gun off the floor mid fight with no ammo

That Omen was getting destroyed by Timmy and I could see and hear the frustration through my screen from what what the Omen typed and every time he died. Very salty my fellow and going 5/14 as Omen. Should’ve played Astra.

I love Astra before the nerf. I enjoyed playing her. She is the definition of a true controller. She too OP that riot deleted her. I just wish they give her back 5 stars or reduce the refresh time. It's just too hard to play her now.
she loses almost all value after her 4 stars are depleted too; most agents regen abilities over time (especially controllers; brim doesnt regen but has insanely long smoke/molly durations + non hollow smokes). She really needs smth to make her compete again and not feel so held back
@@FlyingChicken But if they do buff her, the PRO scene will go back to Astra meta. Which is kinda boring to watch. I just wish they put her on a better place than rn.

@@FlyingChicken They created a monster and then killed when she got out of control. The pre nerf stun was OP too, imagine you can stun above and under areas like Heaven ascent and Fracture A site. Shit is OP.

just started playing this game, got Astra cause she looked cool. One of the best agents I've played so far, and I will always wonder why she isn't picked more.
She was meta a while ago but then she got some nerfs and people stopped playing her, now she is decent but viper is probably the best smoke in most maps rn

Im pretty sure it takes practice and a good mouse. His mouse is expensive but more about the muscle memory.
