I wasn't expecting this style of gameplay or what the main character was but I'm extremely pumped to see how this plays out.
It looks bizarrely insane and entertaining, I can't wait to hear Akira Yamaoka's music and another work by Keiichiro Toyama!

@@ardoniel It's been a great year. Seriously, many of the vaunted games look weak (Signalis, Persona 5, etc.). It's not the visuals that make these projects great. Take a look at the situation. This is the studio's first game. There is no huge budget here. It can be assumed that the studio is small or has a lot of young employees. I believe in Keiichiro Toyama.
@@ardoniel If the game can run smoothly without any bugs, and all it costed the player was graphic looking AAA. Then I can do with the graphic's taking a hit. Not every game needs to look like a block buster hit to be a good game.

ティーザーの方でもちゃんとバトルシーンがあって(しかも敵を一刀両断してる) BGMもメタルだったのに、「逃げゲーだと思ってた」とか「もっとジットリとした雰囲気のゲームだと思ってた」って感想があるのは何故なんだろう…

SIRENみたいに逃げながら謎を解いていく感じかと思ったらガッツリ異能バトルで驚いた。
買うのは確定してるんでストーリーに期待かな。

Exactly, ive also read more info about the game synopsys, its very similar to the movie, you are an entity that gets into people to fight another entitiy that does the same, some of the people you get into are unique and are the one shown in the game cover, they have unique powers, also in one of the earlies concet art of the game there was a pictiure with signs and all, it explains many other details like the origin of the parasyte forbidden--siren-ru.translate.goog/index/yakushi_slitterhead_trailer_concept_art_analysis/0-306?_x_tr_sch=http&_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en.
I can add that the golden aura the unique characters emit is maybe caused from the supernova's explosion light flare.
Anyway, this is Forbidden Siren all over again, another game made by the same creator, a bit of science fiction with horror and, in this case, action, i cant wait !!
Also thanks for mentionning the movie, i didnt know about it and i just finished watching it, it all makes sense now

This looks interesting, but I want Siren back. Imagine a new Siren title with today's tech. It has the potential to be one of the greatest survival horror titles ever.
Ask Sony
Sony wont even copy and paste Siren 2 which has a version ready for worldwide release and they've had the opportunity to do so since the PS3 and 2 more consoles after that.
Siren is dead and Sony doesn't have a fuck to give the size of a grain of rice.
Modern survival horror is dead, everyone is just copying RE2 remaks. If you want modern survival horror you have to look for indie devs.
Excited there is a date now. Will we get a collector's edition? When can we pre-order this?

アクション自体も無骨でやり甲斐はありそうだけど、ドラマ部分の雰囲気やホラー要素の演出、それに怪異の根源に迫るサスペンス、群像劇ならではのキャラクター同士の悲喜こもごもな展開とか、このトレーラーじゃ伝わってこないファクターにも大きな魅力があるはずで、むしろそっちに期待をしてます。
ただのホラーになるはずも、ただのアクションになっているはずもないからね。
最高すぎるだろ、、、！！

Good morning Mr. Toyama, as a fan of yours I think I speak on behalf of everyone if I say that we would have preferred a more classic survival, without so much fantasy and action, I am sure that your fans would be much happier now. I think he's doing a good job with Slitterhead, good graphics, great monsters and original ideas, but I can't shake that "missed opportunity" feeling. For the sake of the game I hope that there is still time to give it a tone that is a little more terrifying, survival and less frenetic and "thug"... It is simply constructive criticism that I hope makes you think. Greetings and good luck with your new game, all your fans wish you from the bottom of our hearts!!
This is wild! Shows off so much, but I still don't know how to explain to someone what's going on.
It kinda looks cool, kinda, well at least the concept is unusual... I know there was Darkness or whatever the game name was, also Jericho, where you basically can enter into others bodies and control different characters, but it's definitely not a cliche approach. So looking forward to the game, as I just had thought before SGF randomly that this game might be long time canceled... glad it was not.

Looks like a mix of Deadman Wonderland and Parasyte. I was sold with playing as a dog there at the end

Feels like a weird game from ps2 or ps3 eras. Could be a complete toss up on if it will be a blazing garbage fire or a sleeper cult classic.

I'm concerned about how rough and stilted the player animations look, particularly when blocking and attacking during combat. I'm liking everything else, though, the overall style, music, and enemy designs are top notch!
