I think that using the most effective forms of contraception is a really smart and important way to prevent unwanted pregnancies. I think the one that you're labeling as someone who doesn't read their Bible spoke some truth at the end of the clip. It seems like she's focused on the human in front of her in need and that that human is suffering from mounds of injustices most can't imagine. I saw that comment as a very close relative to the other woman who said, "The reality is this is the structure and country that you (white people) built. Where does a woman’s right to choose end and the unborn child’s rights to life start? In my opinion, that’s the question that must be decided. It’s a sliding scale that as each day and month passes moves from the mother towards the unborn child. I don’t believe that just because the female is the one carrying the baby it gives her absolute rights over the life of the unborn child from conception to birth. In my opinion, after looking at medical information, after the first trimester, the child has its own right to life. Now, this could and should be debated, but somewhere in the time between conception and before birth the child’s right to life takes precedence over the woman’s right to choose. The physical health of the mother and possibly rape or incest are exceptions that should be debated. Why is no one talking about using condoms and birth control until you are ready to have a child? Yes, it requires more effort but doesn't the prospect of aborting or bringing an unwanted child into this world make it necessary. And women because you will have to bear the burden, your first choice should be not to have unprotected sex. Choose to refuse to have unprotected sex until you want to have a child.
As for rape and incest as Christians we should pray that the women and kids facing this to be delivered and given justice and a loving home. god intervenes. I understand both sides of the debate. I think in the black community we have lost the importance of family and community which for generations provided women in uncertain situations sustainability. Usually a family member or someone in the community would step in a raise a child when the mother and father couldnt. The black community is no longer a supportive village. Black liberals who are pro choice have a valid argument because women have died seeking unregulated abortions. Secondly, the U.S shouldnt base every argument as it pertains to social conflict within the realm of theology. Many of the Arab-Muslim countries subject women to the death penalty for violating the old testament under Sharia Law. What I have noticed in these debates that is not mentioned is the fact that black women are more likely to die during childbirth and do not receive adequate birth control treatment and that it is far more children in the foster care system subjected to abuse than those being aborted. Secondly, abortions are never marketed to white women. Maybe because this demographic receive proper birth control and pre natal care. I think that using the most effective forms of contraception is a really smart and important way to prevent unwanted pregnancies. People try to come up with so many justifications but at the end of the day, if your mother had aborted you you wouldn't be here today. And no, there is no exception for pregnancies conceived as the result of rape, incest or because you're in a relationship with an abusive boyfriend or abusive husband. It's wrong to murder an innocent human life through abortion, infanticide or euthanasia just because a child was conceived through a rape.
It's really sad to see black people support legalized abortion. Our people have already been murdered in high enough numbers over the years because of slavery, Jim Crow and lynchings. There's something wrong with this mentality of thinking that it's ok for us to murder our own black children, or any other children, through abortion, infanticide or other forms of pedicide.
You don't murder your child just because of something wrong that his or her father did. We also don't murder children who have disabilities, whether that disability is autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, or whatever because we could all get into a car accident right now and become permanently physically disabled. I don't want someone to murder me just because I have a disability. We should put mentally and physically disabled people into institutions so that they won't be burdensome to their families.

I think the one that you're labeling as someone who doesn't read their Bible spoke some truth at the end of the clip. It seems like she's focused on the human in front of her in need and that that human is suffering from mounds of injustices most can't imagine. I saw that comment as a very close relative to the other woman who said, "The reality is this is the structure and country that you (white people) built. Where does a woman’s right to choose end and the unborn child’s rights to life start? In my opinion, that’s the question that must be decided. It’s a sliding scale that as each day and month passes moves from the mother towards the unborn child. I don’t believe that just because the female is the one carrying the baby it gives her absolute rights over the life of the unborn child from conception to birth. In my opinion, after looking at medical information, after the first trimester, the child has its own right to life. Now, this could and should be debated, but somewhere in the time between conception and before birth the child’s right to life takes precedence over the woman’s right to choose. The physical health of the mother and possibly rape or incest are exceptions that should be debated.
Why is no one talking about using condoms and birth control until you are ready to have a child? Yes, it requires more effort but doesn't the prospect of aborting or bringing an unwanted child into this world make it necessary. And women because you will have to bear the burden, your first choice should be not to have unprotected sex. Choose to refuse to have unprotected sex until you want to have a child.

I understand both sides of the debate. I think in the black community we have lost the importance of family and community which for generations provided women in uncertain situations sustainability. Usually a family member or someone in the community would step in a raise a child when the mother and father couldnt. The black community is no longer a supportive village.
Black liberals who are pro choice have a valid argument because women have died seeking unregulated abortions. Secondly, the U.S shouldnt base every argument as it pertains to social conflict within the realm of theology.
Many of the Arab-Muslim countries subject women to the death penalty for violating the old testament under Sharia Law. This is why basing every argument within the confines of biblical interpretation can be dangerous.
What I have noticed in these debates that is not mentioned is the fact that black women are more likely to die during childbirth and do not receive adequate birth control treatment and that it is far more children in the foster care system subjected to abuse than those being aborted. Secondly, abortions are never marketed to white women. Maybe because this demographic receive proper birth control and pre natal care.
So, are these arguments about the safety and welfare of black women and children or upholding a pseudo biblical patriarchal interpretation.
