    Hi Dana, thanks a lot for your video. Could you show me how to sort data according to date, by date/month/year in dynamic chart?

    Hi Dana, this is exactly what I'm looking for, thanks so much! The problem I have is that the percentage in my pie chart is different from the percentage calculated using this blend data feature (the blend data shows the correct % tho). Do you maybe have any idea why my pie chart is showing a wrong % even though the input source is correct?

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  Год назад

      Hey I would recommend checking if there's any filter applied to the pie chart, or if the report date is using the same field. So sorry for the super late replies as I was not in my best state to reply to your questions.

    Hello, thanks for the tutorial. It is very useful to me. Can I ask how you can create a horizontal bar graph which filtering out the countries?

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  2 года назад

      Hi Pentea! So glad you find it useful :)
      Sure, you'd need to enable the cross-filtering option for the chart. For the step by step guide, you may refer to this video by another GDS educator: ruclips.net/video/hoIRtKeng5g/видео.html

    how did you change the name of the calculative scorecard?

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  Год назад

      Hey Divya, you may edit the calculated field name or rename the scorecard metrics. Renaming calculated field would help to rename all the charts that have used the field.
      If you want to rename a particular chart, go for the second method: rename the chart metrics name.
      Simply hover on the metric (there’ll be a edit icon) click on that and put the new name for the metric. And this would override the name of the calculated field when showing in the scorecard.
      Hope this is clear :)

    Hi Dana, very informative video. May I ask, how do we create a blend between grouped scorecard( grouped with control) and ungrouped scorecard ? Because I my dashboard I want to create a percentage of total from selected values compared to the total number of people

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  2 года назад

      Do you meant you want the percentage of total to calculate dynamically based on what the users select ?

    same percentage in table formate how

  • @johnmichaelnguyen8932
    @johnmichaelnguyen8932 Год назад

    What to do if you get a percentage higher than 100%? how can I limit the output data to 0-100% only after blending the data?

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  Год назад

      Hi John, I’m not exactly sure about the problem you facing. But if you need to limit it to max 100 - wrap the formula with CASE WHEN or if so that if the output is more than 1, you want to relabel it to 1.
      Hope this helps!

    This doesn't work anymore right? Since they added the new join configuration to the blend data option. Now it does not create a percentage from the two scorecards straight forward...

      Hi Susana, This still works from my end, does it not work for you?

    • @user-qw9fv7jr1j
      @user-qw9fv7jr1j Год назад

      @@danalyser nope, it doesn't. I do the same as usual: select score card 1 (unique events), select card 2 (unique page views), right click and select Blend Data --> result: a new score card with the same data as score card 1. 🤷‍♀

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  Год назад

      @@user-qw9fv7jr1j i see! I guess you would have to add the fields manually in the data blend configuration in this case :)

      @@danalyser I tried, but then I can not apply different filters to each metric. So does it happen to you also? Did Looker Studio changed this? There must be a simple way to do it as simple as before but I don't find it!

    • @danalyser
      @danalyser  Год назад

      @@user-qw9fv7jr1j I actually tried again when you mentioned that it doesnt work, but I can do it using the method in the video. the manual way of adding the metrics and filter to data blend is working as well, so I wasn’t too sure about the issue you’re facing currently.
